Its horrifying, that you find it so easy to pretend you're one thing, while all along you were only a liar with a blinding smile. But what's even scarier is that I fell for it. I fell for all of it. I was ignorant to your lies because you were so good at pretending that they weren't yours. And I trusted you. You had me in the palm of your hand. And so that's why I fell from your grasp when you dropped me. That's why I fell so damn hard.
And you stepped away before you could catch me.
