I'm going on a date with Matt. Yes the Matthew Espinosa. I never thought this would happen.

After I took a shower I got ready. I put on my sunflower dress. It's a baige lace dress with sunflower print lining the bottom. Then I put on my white keds. I blow dried my and put my beanie on. I then put a little make-up.

I went outside of the bathroom and lay on my bed. I took my phone out and texted Matt.

Me: hey I'm ready

Matt: great I'm on my way.

With that I turned my phone out and put it in my brown purse.

I went downstairs and saw Matt waiting for me. "How did you get---" he cut me off "I'll explain later and you look good wow" he said. I felt myself blushing. "Let's go" I said and took his hand and dragged him out of the house.

Matt p.o.v

I knocked on Rivs door. Huh no reply. I was going to open the door when a lady opened it. "oh my god you scared me" the lady said shocked. "Sorry May I come in?" I asked. She gestured me to come in and I waited at the foot of the staircase.

"How did you get---" I cut her off. Wow she looks so stunning. Her outfit is so perfect for her. "I'll explain later you look good wow" I said and she dragged me to the car.

Riv p.o.v

Most of the car ride was sent until we reached a park. "Ok cover your eyes and no peaking." Matt said with a harsh tone. "ok ok." I covered my eyes with a bandana and headed out of the car. I soon felt a pair of arms on my waist. "Just keep walking" Matt says and we finally stop.

I feel a smooth surface under my feet. Huh this isn't grass. After a few seconds of trying to figure out where was I my bandana was removed. "Oh my gosh Matt" I screamed. It's a picnic. Aww I love picnics ever since I was small. We sat down and we started talking. We had a few laughs here and there. I'm starting to fall for him again. Never thought it would be this easy.

"Enjoying?" he ask me and puts his arm over my shoulder. "Yes" I said and snuggled into him. "You know Riv I'm really sorry for the bad things. I really do like you and I hope you forgive me." He already had tears forming. "It's ok I forgive you" I leaned in for a hug and it was so nice. I felt like I needed this in forever. It was like we were the only people there.

We released and Matt started to lean in. Oh he's trying to kiss me I see. I got the message and leaned in. When we were about to kiss I slowly backed away. "Maybe next time" I said and pecked him on the cheek.

"I think we should get going" Matt says as he picks up everything. "yeah ok" I pick up the liters and put them in the trashcan. "hey wanna hang in the house where I'm staying for a bit." he says as he packs everything into the car. "sure" we get in a drive off.
