Wonder. (Matthew Espinosa fanfic)

Problem

Riv p.o.v

All I see is a bright light. I can barely see until everything goes blank. I slowly open my eyes and feel a sharp pain in my foot. I bite my lip to prevent me from groaning.

"Look she's awake" a man in a white lab gown says. Maybe he's the doctor. I look at my surroundings. I see that I'm wearing one of those hospital gowns. I just hate these they make me feel uncomfortable. I look around and see three people standing next to me. it must be my parents and the doctor.

"What's happening?" I ask. I try to roll over but the pain in my foot is excruciating. "Riv. Am I correct?" The doctor says. "yes" I sit up. "You lost a lot of blood and you had to get 21 stitches on your right foot. According to my sources you possibly cut it with a glass shard and you cut it 5" deep." He says with a concerned look.

I nod and lay back down. "thank you" I say. "Riv honey, we'll be checked out today so you should get ready. I brought you some clothes." I grab the clothes as I say, "thanks mom."

"Mom?" I ask. "Yes honey?" I whimper in pain. "Mom who brought me to the hospital?" I ask her as I put my change of clothes aside. "The boy you went out with." Aww Matt cares about me. "who is he?" my mom asks. I'm hesitant. well I forgot to introduce him to my parents. I'm screwed. "He's Matthew Espinosa." shucks what if my mom kills me. Gosh. "Really? is that the guy you like? the Vine kid?" she steps closer to me. "yes mom" I remember to be respectful. "Well I better meet him then." my mom winks at me and I roll my eyes.

I shuffle myself around the hospital bed. this is really uncomfortable. "Riv, you have other guests here to see you." The Doctor says. I turn my attention to the door. it slowly opens and I see around 10 boys and 1 girl come in. "Riv you okay? I was worried sick." Michelle exclaimed. "I'm fine. thanks for asking."

More people start asking me questions. I feel overwhelmed by all the questions. suddenly I see Matt come up to me. "hey thanks for saving me." I reached and tried to friendly shove him. "no problem. anything for you my lady." he pecks me on the lips and I blush. At the corner of my eye I see my dad. oh no this isn't going to be good.
