Yael's POV

As always, she looked vibrant. How did I know? Of course, I'm here at Showtime too. A good boyfrie--oh, soon-to-be boyfriend should be supportive. Anyways, as the show ended, I sneaked in her dressing room and hid behind the enormous couch.

A minute after, I heard her voice talking to someone. "It's nice to meet you too," I hear her say. "Gusto mo late lunch tayo?"  Oh, it's Vice Ganda. Actually, I'm planning to ask her out. I chanted in my head as I hear Karylle pause. Say no, please, say no.

"Hindi muna siguro, Vice," Yes! I still have a chance. "Aw, sayang naman. Sige next time ha?" and he left. I hear K sigh and the door closed. I felt a thug as she slumped down the couch. "Asan na kaya yung lalaking yun?" she muttered making me smile.

I stood up and covered her eyes. "Yael?" she guesses. "How did you know?" I asked, sitting beside her. She shook her head and said, "I just knew it." I patted her head like a little kid. "It seems like you do that most of the time we're together ah," she said as she organized her stuff. Stealing a kiss on her cheek, she stopped and looked right into my eyes.

"Hey, Pilipinas Win na Win--" Lauren, I suppose—the 'crazy' fangirl from the bar where we first met—barged in. We both stepped back from each other. Awkwardness fills the air. "Oh hey," I waved at her to ease the tension. "Uhm, next na yung Pilipinas Win na Win," she said, "NIce to see you, Yael!" And she left the room faster than Flash.

"Awkward!, " I teased her as she pinched my cheeks. "I guess, lunch will have to wait?" she said as we walked towards the set. "I can always wait," I winked at her as she proceeded backstage and me? Back to the bleachers.

Karylle's POV

Thank God, he understands. If I were him, I'd be outta this place and eating up! But as surprising as it may seem, he still waited. Hmmm. Atta man.

This time, we are using his car. "Don't worry, ihahatid kita sa inyo," he reminds me. I chuckled and gazed outside. "I'm starving!" I said and as if the heavens heard, the vehicle stopped. He opened up the door for me, "Andito na po tayo, mahal na prinsesa!" I playfully slapped his arm and we walked into the restaurant. Baba Kebab House.

"Great choice," I complimented and we sat down. He shrugged and said, "Gusto ko kumain ng kanin. Tomguts," he said and I swear I almost jumped my seat. "I love rice." What I said kind of shocked him,  obviously, for he looked at me wide-eyed. "What?" I asked him.

"How can you be that fit if you love eating rice?" The orders came and I shoved a spoonful of rice into my mouth. He laughed out loud and I swear, the people around stared at us. "In moderation naman ah," I said, rolling my eyes at him. "Hindi halata," he teased and I stuck my tongue out.

After our super late lunch, he did sent me home. And by the front steps of my house—my newest favorite place—we bid our good byes. "I had tons of fun discussing my love for rice with you," I said. We laughed and he said, "Hope this wouldn't be the last." He reached for my hands and kissed them. "I bet it won't be, " I said turning around and shutting the door in an instant.

My legs felt like jelly so I sat down on the couch. I can still feel my cheeks heating up. Oh, Yael.
