Chapter 13 - Jealousy

Karylle's POV

"Oh my gosh, ate! I'm so happy for you! " Zia squealed. I pulled her in for one last hug.  We bid our goodbyes and I went to Showtime.

Sitting at my usual spot at the hurado panel, Vice tapped me on the shoulder. I raised an eyebrow and he smiled. "Lunch later? " Since I have no plans,  I said yes.  Plus,  I really find this guy interesting.

And so we did. We went to this steakhouse and the food is so good. "So,  kamusta na kayo ni Yael?" I kinda chocked on the food and I gulp down some water.

"Actually, kami na," and it was his turn to choke. "You okay? " He nodded and we laughed. "Congrats ha,"he said as we both stood up.  I hugged him and we said farewell.  "See you tomorrow, K!" he said and I waved.

Somebody covered my eyes and I recognized who from his smell. "Christian?" He pulled away and grunted.  "How did you know? " he asked. "Blackwater," I said while laughing.

We strolled by the mall for a few hours and had dinner. You see,  Chris and I always get paired up but nothing to do romantic was developed between us.

He then dropped me off my house and left eventually. I noticed someone was inside.  Oh my gosh.

I was relieved to see it was only Lauren. When she saw me,  show went in hope a quick hug and went out. Weird.  That's when I realized I wasn't alone.

"I hope you had fun with that guy, "he said,  a little bit too gloomy. I chucked.  "Vice Ganda? Seriously? " Still he kept a straight face and said, "Christian  Baustista, huh," and that is when it hit me.

I hugged him and planted a light kiss on his lips."Baby, don't be jealous. He's just a good friend." He smiled a little and we sat down the couch.

"I can't believe you got jealous on Chris," I teased him.  He ruffled my hair and laughed. "Kaysa naman si Vice ang pagselosan di ba?" he joked.

And then, I drift off to Neverland, snuggling in his arms.
