Yael's POV

Finally. The long wait is over. I got my angel now...officially!

All of a sudden, the lights turned off. I can feel Karylle flinch in my arms. "Hey, is this still part of your plan?" she asked me. "Nope. But let's get out of here," I said as we both struggled to make our way out of the place.

The way her hand fits in mine is just perfect. I've never felt this way before. It's like were meant to be together.

When we reached the parking lot, I realized that I was smiling the whole time. "Stop smiling!", she said as she slapped my shoulder a bit. Her cheeks showed a small tint of pink and it  made me smile even more. "This just too good to be true," I said and she rolled her eyes. I took the opportunity to kiss her cheek. Karylle smiled and I expected her to be surprised or something.

"Do you have anything in mind? Any place?", I asked her. She shook her head and sighed. "All this is too overwhelming so I guess I'd loved to go home," she states as we hopped into my car. Starting the engine, the air conditioner went off automatically. In my peripheral vision, I saw her shrug. And without second thoughts I removed my jacket and gently laid it on her.

"Such a gentleman," she muttered and pinched my cheek. On the way to her house, I figured  that she was humming to some tune. "You working on a song?" I curiously asked as I pulled through her house. She nodded, "Basically."

I went out of the car and opened up the door for her. "Thanks, baby," she nonchalantly said. I looked at her wide-eyed.

Karylle's POV

Wait a second. Did I just say baby? Ugh. That's embarrassing as hell.

You see, while we were in the car, I was thinking of what term of endearment should we use. I mean, is it weird? I hope it isn't.

Well, here I am now--with my hot boyfriend giving me  look as if he's waiting for some sort of explanation. "Sorry," I muttered and it's bearly audible. "You've got nothing to be sorry for, baby," he said as he gently and comfortingly caressed my cheek. I struggled not to smile and inevitably failed.

"I like the sound of--," he cut me off by placing his lips on mine. My eyes shut out and I felt the softness of his lips. It was magical and mundane--as if sparks were flying. I melt into the kiss so much that my arms automatically wrapped around his neck. We both pulled away at the same time.

I hugged him, treasuring the moment while it still lasts. He hugged me back and caressed my curls. With him, I don't need to be someone else. With him, everything's just better. His warmth was comforting, his scent is addicting. Right now, I am certain that I made the right choice.

"Now, you were saying?" he said, with a  cute smile on his face. "I like the sound of you calling me that," I said as we walked to my door.  "Y'know, I'd love to stay here and sleep on the most comfortable couch ever," he started and took my hands, "But I still need to do some explaining to the band and a pile of work is waiting at the studio." I didn't even bother to mask my feeling because I pouted and said, "It's okay."

He gave me a smack on the lips and winked. "I loved running away with you."
