Past lover (A Nalu Fanfic)

Living with Natsu

"WHAT?" 

"You're moving in together. I thought I made myself clear..." Virgo comes downstairs with my suitcase and I notice a bunch of boxes by the stairs. "You're making me leave?"

"Your new house is really close to the school and not only that but you also have a recording studio and a pool. It's such a cool house." What have I done to deserve this?

At this point it's late, Natsu goes home to sleep and I go upstairs after eating dinner.

The next morning Natsu is here and I am dragged into his car and we drive to our new house. When we get there we notice some boxes marked with our names. We take them upstairs and notice there is just one room... oh no...

"Luce, where are you going to sleep." I smack him and I lay down on the bed, my back facing him. "I'm sleeping on the bed. You can sleep on the floor." He pouts and lays down next to me. I turn around when I feel his weight on the bed.

I turn around, his face is really close to mine. my face heats up and my I can feel my heart pounding against my chest. "We could sleep together." I'm sure that now my face looks as red as Erza's hair. He chuckles and kisses my forehead, "You look adorable when you blush Lucy." He pulls me towards him and hugs me, I don't say anything. I just smile and cuddle with him. "Luce..." I look up at him and he kisses me. I can feel him smile, I love this dork. I smile and pull away. "I love you Natsu," I sit up and sit on his lap, he sits up and hugs me, "I'm glad we're together, maybe it was fate, maybe it was just a coincidence. But I'm glad we're here together." He kisses my cheek and then whispers in my ear. "I'm really glad you're here with me. I love you Lucy." He kisses my neck and I jump a bit, "Lucy?" I get off his lap and I go towards the door.

"Don't do that. I'm ticklish, also I have a sensitive neck." he smirks and stands up.

"You're ticklish?" he grins and I run downstairs. "Luce come back!" I run outside to the backyard and I go around to the front. I lost him so I should be safe now. "Luce!" he comes out from behind the couch and tackles me to the ground. He begins to tickle me and I try to get him off me. "Natsu stop! Stop!" he continues to tickle me until I get him off me and I begin to tickle him.

After that we realize the only thing we have is a bed and a couch. Everything else is in boxes. We get into Natsu's car and we go to some furniture stores. After a while we both decide on some nice things for our house. We go buy some covers and blankets, pillows, cups, silverware, and some other stuff.

We get home and begin organizing everything we just bought and what was in the boxes. We get the downstairs area all organized and decorated. We go upstairs to our room and begin to organize as well. We put our clothes and shoes in the closet, underwear and some extra shirts in the drawers near the closet.

It's soon night time and the house is decorated and clean. We realize that we went to the store and forgot to buy food. "Luce!!! We're going to starve to death!!" I roll my eyes and sigh. "Luce! I need food! What are we going to eat? There's no food!!" he runs around and I try to calm him down. "Natsu calm down. We can just go eat somewhere," the door rang and I got up to see who was here. "Lucy. I need food." I went to open the door and Natsu followed me. Erza, Levy and Juvia stand at my door with bags in their hands. "Surprise!" Levy smile and Erza invites herself in. "Juvia thought it would be a good idea to visit, we also brought food."

Juvia smiles shyly. "Gray and the others will be here soon with some more stuff." Natsu goes and Hugs Juvia. "Juvia you are the best friend ever," he looks towards me while still hugging Juvia. "She brought us food Luce. We won't starve to death!!" the girls looked at Natsu in confusion.

"We forgot to buy food, Natsu was being overdramatic." They nod and Natsu lets go on Juvia.

Levy walks up to me and hands me a box. "Here Lu, for your new home." I open the box and find a picture that was taken at the party, it's Levy, Erza, Juvia and Gray standing next to us. In the picture Natsu holds me in his arms in a hug, we all smile and look so happy. "Thanks Levy."

Erza gave me a katana as a present to "keep me safe" or use "for self-defense."  Juvia gave us a really pretty sky blue vase for our home.

Jellal, Gajeel and Gray came a few minutes later with drinks and more food. Soon enough there was no food left and the boys were in the backyard fighting in the pool.

"We should get in the pool," Erza said. We went to one of the guest rooms and chose out some swimsuits. (the box with swimsuits and dresses were in the guest room.)

Once we were in our swimsuits we went downstairs to join the guys by the pool. I sat on one of the chairs next to Levy and we began reading. Erza and Juvia got in the pool with the guys and began goofing around. Levy was reading a book by Katie Alender when I saw Gajeel sneak up around Levy. He saw me staring and he put a finger up to his lips to tell me to be quiet. I nod slightly and he takes Levy's book out of her hands and tosses it to me, right when she's about to complain about it he picks her up and jumps into the pool with her. I giggle at the two acting like a couple.

I feel something behind me, I put both books on the table and I turn around to meet Natsu smirking. "No." he picks me up and walks toward the edge of the pool. "Natsu put me down!" he grins. "As you wish princess." He lets me go and I fall into the pool. I go up to the surface and I see Natsu laughing as he stands by the edge of the pool. I see Gray go up behind Natsu and he pushes him in.

Natsu and Gray continue fighting and the rest of us enjoy the rest of the night.

We go back inside and sit down on the couch. We turn on the tv and the first thing we see is our faces.

"Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Ashley Heartfilia are now engaged. The Heartfilia family hosted a party on Friday, there was no say on what the party was about. While at the party the Dragneel son got on one knee and proposed to Lucy. Our reporters and photographers were there at the scene to get us some pictures of the night." A picture of Natsu proposing appears on screen.

"But that's not all. The son of the Fullbuster company also made an appearance at the party, and let's just say he looked very well accompanied." A picture of Juvia and Gray holding hands appears on screen, they smile and look very happy. "The Dragneel and Fullbuster companies have been at the top since last week. Now that both the Dragneel and Heartfilia families will unite there's no way they'll get the top spot taken away from them." Juvia looks at Gray in embarrassment, "Juvia didn't to Gray's father had a company as well." He says he didn't think it would be important so we all shrug it off.

"So why wasn't I invited to this party?" Gajeel asks. He glares at Natsu, Jellal also joins in to the conversation. "Now that you mention it Gajeel, why wasn't I invited?" Natsu looks at me for help and I just shrug. They begin fighting again, Jellal now involved which is a rare sight.

We end up putting on Poltergeist, the girls sat on the floor and the guys ended up sitting on the couch. Halfway through the movie the girls were asleep on the floor, I tap Natsu on the knee, he looks at me and I motion toward the girls. He nods and taps Jellal on the shoulder.

Jellal looks down at Erza, he gets up and walks towards where she lays and pick her up. Because the house is pretty big there are 2 extra rooms besides ours, we already put beds in the rooms so I motioned Jellal to one of the rooms, he makes his way to the room. Gajeel realizes Levy is asleep so he picks her up and lays down on one of the couches with her in his arms, I notice Levy moves her arms around him and sniggles against his chest. Gray picks up Juvia and takes her to the other guest room. A few minutes later Jellal and Gray come back and sit down on the floor. Natsu picks me up and sets me down on the couch. he sits down next to me and I lean on his shoulder. My eyelids feel heavy and everything goes dark. The last thing I hear before I fall asleep is "goodnight Luce."
