Cari or Cammie?

Cammie pov:
I just woke up to a message from Shannon. I don't know if she texted the right person but I think I should call her. I get a couple rings but when she answers all I hear is whimpers.
C: Shannon, are you okay?
S: Kinda... not really. I just need to talk to someone right now.
C: I'm right here to talk to you. What happened?
S: Well Cari and I broke up. It was a mutual thing but I don't know what to do. My son is heart broken and I am too. Ally is gone to the Bahamas and I have no one right now.
C: Just comfort Aiden. He probably needs all the love that he could get.
S: Okay.
C: I'll call you later. Don't do anything stupid.
S: Ha. Okay bye.
I start to frantic around my room getting some clothes in a suitcase and booking my flight to LA. "Where are you going?" Stevie asks from my doorway. "To see Shannon" I simply say and she shakes her head. "I said move on not chase after a girl that's getting married" she says. "Well she's not getting married anymore" I say and she gives me a confused look. "What do you mean she's not getting married?Her and Cari was doing fine" she say and I scratch my head. "Well ummm they broke up. But she said it was a mutual thing" I say and she nods. "But why are you going to LA?" She asks. "Cause she needs someone. Ally's not with her and I want to at least be there for her" I say. "Okay. Well I'm coming. I don't want to be here alone" she says and runs back to her room. Ughhh Shannon Beveridge I'm coming for you. I don't desperately want her back but I want to be with her when she needs someone. So I guess flying to LA for her is all worth it.

-5 hours later-
We just landed in LA and I really didn't think any of this through. This is Stevie and I first time here and we're both totally lost. "So do we call a uber?" Stevie asks and I shrug. "You should call her again" she says and goes on the side to call a ride. I try and call her but it just goes straight to voicemail. So now I'm calling Mark. After two rings he answers.
C: Hey Mark.
M: what's up?
C: I'm kinda in LA and I was wondering, what's your address?
M: Are you gonna rob us? Geez you sound scary.
C: I'm sorry. Shannon won't answer her phone.
M: Oh. She's been locked in her room all day. Cari really messed her up.
C: Is she okay?
M: Yeah. Aiden just went in there to comfort her.
C: can you text me your address? I want to be here for her.
M: Yeah. Do you want me to tell her you're coming over?
C: No. I want to surprise her.
M: Okay see you soon.
C: Bye.
I hang up and see Stevie already putting her stuff in the uber. "What happened?" She asks. "I really need to see her" I say and she nods. We get in the uber and put in the address mark texted me. "Do I still have to move on" I ask her and she shrugs. "Do what you think is right" she says. For the rest of the ride we say in silence, listening to the audible book the uber driver put on.

When we get there Stevie and I admire their house. "Wow" we say in sync cause it's so beautiful. We walk up to the front door and knock. About two minutes later Mark opens the door. "Where is she?" I ask and he leads me to her room. "She hasn't eaten all day and I'm worried about her. Aiden is down stairs cuddling with Ethan. I haven't seen them like this before. Make sure she's okay" Mark says before making his way down. I knock on her door and I get no response. I turn the knob and it's unlocked. "Mark I'm okay" Shannon says while she is curled up in her pillow and facing the wall. "It's not Mark" I say and she lifts up her head. "What are you doing here Cammie?" She asks and I shrug. "I'm helping a girl out. I'm here to check on you" I say and sit on her bed. "You could've just FaceTime me or something instead of flying all the way to LA for me" she chuckles but I can hear the pain in her voice. "No. You could put on a fake smile and say you're okay through a phone. I'm want to be here and help you get through this" I say and she sighs. She gets up and she's only wearing a tank top and sweatpants but she still looks beautiful. She walks towards me and hugs me really tight. "Thank you. It hurts so bad" she says into my neck and I can feel m shivers go down my spine. "Do you want to talk about it?" I ask and she pulls away from the hug. "Not right now. Let's go in the living room" she says and I nod. We walk down the stairs to see Aiden in Stevie's arms. "Hey" Shannon says and Aiden runs to her. "You okay mommy?" He asks. "I'm okay bud. How about you?" She asks. "I'm good. I miss her mommy" he says with tears in his eyes. "Me too" she says and hugs him tightly. "Go with daddy outside. He's swimming in the pool" she says to Aiden and he runs outside. "You guys have a pool too. Damn can I live with you guys?" Stevie says and we all laugh. "Sure we have a extra room down here" Shannon says. "Just imagine all of us living in this house. That would be crazy" I say. "Come. You guys could stay in that room till you guys leave" Shannon helps us with our suitcase into a large room. "A flat screen tv, a walk in closet, and a personal bathroom. This house is great" Stevie says and jumps onto the bed. "Do you guys want a tour around the house or you guys just settle down in the room?" Shannon asks. "I'll stay in the room" Stevie says while taking off her shoes. "Cammie, Would you like a house tour?" Shan asks and I nod. "Okay let's go" she says and walks me through the house. "This house is beautiful" I say and she nods. "Yeah ally and I picked it out. At first we were living at my dads old apartment but then we moved here. I still pay for that apartment cause I  go there sometimes when I need to" she says while we walk back into the guest room. Stevie is still watching tv so I decide to sit right next to her. "Make yourself at home. Whatever you guys need just ask. I'll be outside with Aiden" Shannon leaves.  the room and Stevie instantly turns to me. "Is she okay?" She asks I shrug. "She's heartbroken, So no" I say. "Did she want to talk about it?" She asks and I shake my head. "No. But later she will" I say and she nods. "I want to move to LA" she says and I look at her. "But we just settled down in Texas" I say. "We've been here for a couple hours and it's nice here. Texas is home but I feel like I'll find myself here" she says. "It's your decision stevie. I'm gonna start in Texas" I say and cross my arms. "You're really stubborn. I'm gonna ask Shannon later if I can stay here for a while till I find a place" she says and stick her younger out at me. "Isn't it gonna be weird living with your ex?" I ask and she shakes her head. "Well you came all the way here to comfort your ex. Moving in isn't a problem" she says and I flip her off.

--4 days later--
"Camden Scott, let me die in my room!" Shannon yells as I try pull her out of her bed. "No. You've been trapped in this room for too long. I know how you feel just please get up" I beg her and she just sits on her bed. "How do you know how I feel? I just lost the love of my life" she says with tears in her eyes. "I lost you for four years. I thought of you every single day. I was going crazy and I couldn't even find a new love like you did. I don't know why I'm telling you this but when I came back I just wanted to be with you"'I say and she comes near me. "It's my fault that you had to leave but I wanted a better future that didn't involve me" she says and make eye contact with me. "Remember when you asked me if I wanted to marry you? You said that after the four years that you'd still be waiting but you wasn't" I say and now I feel tears whelming up. "I know. I thought a beautiful girl like you would've found love already" she says and I feel angry. "Well you thought wrong Shannon. You know how hard it was seeing you with Cari. I'm not trying to be selfish but I still love you. I tried to move on but you're everything to me" I say and walk out of her room. I can't be here right now. I start walking down the street of LA and go to the nearest coffee shop.

Shannon pov:
"Fuck fuck fuck!!!" I say out loud and then I hear a knock on my door. I immediately open it thinking it was Cammie again but I open it to my best friend. "Why is Stevie down in the guest room? And why are you yelling fuck? You know Aiden can hear you" ally says and I hug her. "I fucked up. Cammie just told me she still loves me and I said something stupid. So how was you trip?" I say trying to change the subject. "That was Cammie that ran out of the house? I thought it was Cari. You better go get her. Oh wait where is Cari?" She asks and I shake my head no. "Long story short, we broke up. I don't want to talk about it right now. I'll be back in a few" I say running out of my house. I run down the street and look through every store I see to look for her. I find a little coffee shop and see her sitting alone looking out the window. "Cammie" I say out of breathe. "Shannon you're barefoot and you're in your pajamas. What are you doing?" She asks and I sit across of her. "I came to look for you. I don't know what to say to you but I just want to talk" I say and she nods. " Shannon can we just forget...." I stop her and start to talk. "I love you, I really do. But Cari came into my life and helped me through the tough times. For the first couple of months I was with her all I thought about was you. I couldn't even have sex with my own girlfriend cause your face was all I could see. Then I let myself fall in love with Cari and then I fell deeply with her. She changed my life and then broke it. Cammie, I want to be with you but now is not the right time" I say and she stands up. "I understand. I can't be with you right now. I think I'm gonna go to a hotel and stay there a few nights" she says and I stand too. "I'll pay for it. You came down here for me and all I can do is repay you by renting you a hotel room. I'll even pay for your food and whatever expenses" I say and she shakes her head no. "I got it Shan, you don't have to spoil me" she says and I grab her hand. "No. I'm serious I will pay for it. Just pack your stuff and I will pay for everything" I say and she nods. We walk out of the coffee shop in silence all the way back to my house. She goes straight to the guest room and I go up to my room to call the nicest hotel in LA. I make reservations and call her a uber. "What are you doing Shannon?" Ally asks at my door. "Sending Cammie to a hotel" I say. "Why?" She asks. "Because she doesn't want to be here right now and I insisted on paying for everything" I say and change my clothes. "Is Stevie staying here?" She asks and I shrug. "I don't know, why don't you ask her" I say and she shakes her head no. "Well is it okay if she moves in?" I ask and she gives me a confused look. "Kinda but I don't pay for anything except the wifi and Netflix. The house is yours so it doesn't matter" she says and I nod. "Cool. Ummm I gotta go check on cam" I say and run down the stairs. I see Cammie in the living room already with her suitcase ready. "Okay there's a uber coming soon and you got a room at Hilton Checkers hotel. The room is under Beveridge" I say and she nods. "Thank you Shannon" she says and makes her way out to the Uber. "Call me if you need anything" I say watching her enter the car. "Okay. Bye" she says and leaves. "If you love her. You'll chase after her" Stevie comes from behind me.. "I love her but I still love Cari" I say. "Gotta figure what you want before it's all gone" She says and leaves me. I can't just get over a girl I was engaged too. Well I can but not in 4 days. I guess for the next few days I have to choose between the love of my lives. Cari or Cammie?

Sorry for the super late update. I've just got back to school and it's been rough. Literally did about 4 essays in one week for one class. If I upload a chapter throughout the week it's gonna be a short one. But idk yet. Hope you guys are had a great weekend. Also enjoy❤
