It's Saturday today and it's aidens birthday which means I have to be up early. Right now it's 6 in the morning and I'm cuddled up with Cari. I missed her a lot. She's been a real big help in my life and I hate to see her go again. I've been dating her for two years and it's been going great. I thought I would have never moved on from Cammie but I guess I found a a new love with Cari. But when I seen her in the store the other day my heart just dropped. She's changed a lot. Like she's beyond beautiful and she's matured. I'll see her later on today so I might catch up with her since the two times I seen her it was like a one sentence conversation and then we both leave. I stop thinking about her and slip out of bed without waking Cari up. I go into marks room and wake him up so he can help me wrap some of aidens presents. We both been catching up with our family and right now is the only time we've actually been with each other. "So how's life?" Mark asks and I chuckle. "Good, why?" I ask and he lifts one of his eyebrows. "Well you know, your girlfriend and your ex girlfriend will be at your sons party today and I was just wondering how's it going with that" he says and he continues to wrap presents on the living room floor. "I love Cari. You know she's been there for this family and that she's a great person. I don't want to lose her. Cammie is just a friend" I say and he nods. "Well you better control yourself" he says and I give him a confused look. "Why what's gonna happen?" I ask. "The last time you seen Cari in a bikini, you almost got us kicked off the beach" he says and I laugh. "Those we're some good times" I say and he just laughs at me.

We're getting everything ready at the beach and I watch as Aiden plays with Cari in the sand. It's cute watching them bond again. I look over to Mark and he's cooking some steak while Ethan just watches. Everything is about ready now we're just waiting for the guest. So I decide to go play with Aiden them. "Hey buddy" I say and sit right next to him. "What you making?" I ask and he points at his creation. "Auntie Cari and I are making a sand castle. Look that's you, daddy, uncle Ethan, auntie Cari, and me. I did this all by myself" he says and I look at Cari who's staring at me also. "Ughhh I missed this little guy" she says and comes sit by me. "You look beautiful" I say and kiss her cheek. "You too. I think some of your friends are here" she says and I look to see Vanessa Webster standing right next to Danny. "Am I seeing things or are those my friends from high school?" I ask her but she shakes her head no. "Go say hi to them you weirdo" she says and continues to play with Aiden. I run towards them
And they both give me a gigantic hug. "What are you guys doing here?" I ask them as we pull away. "Well we haven't seen you guys in a couple of years and seems to me it's little aidens birthday" Vanessa says as we see Aiden and Cari them coming towards us. "Looks like you've been busy" Danny says and I punch him. "No she's just a friend" I say as Cari stands beside me. "Hi Aiden" they both say and he says hi back. "Happy birthday dude" Vanessa says and hands him a present. "So who's this Shan" Danny asks pointing at Cari. "This is Cari Fletcher. Remember the softball girl from high school" I say and they nod. "Oh yeah. But you make music now" Danny says and she nods. "Wow. Plus I believe I brought my ex girlfriend to one of your concerts. I love your song wasted youth" he adds and she blushes. "Oh it's nothing" she says and we all continue to talk.

After about a hour everyone has arrived and I'm talking to ally about some random shit until someone bumps into me. "Oh I'm sorry" the girl I haven't talked to since she came back says. "It's alright Cammie" I chuckle as she just stares straight into my eyes. "You like my eyes? Aiden says they're pretty" I say and she laughs. "They are pretty. But not as cute as his" she says and I playfully push her. "Hey look there's Stevie" ally says out of nowhere and runs towards a different direction. "Looks like she haven't changed a bit" cam says and I nod cause after more than 10 years that girl is still the same ally hills as when I first met her. "Yeah. So umm do you want to go swimming? I'm pretty sure Aiden would love to see you" I say and she nods.
