-Chris's POV-

"And now we add the eggs but only a little at a time, then a bit of flower and mix," said vinny
"Okay so like this?"
"Perfect!"
"Hey Chris I think your daughter is gonna be a professional cake maker when she grows up!" Yelled vinny from in the kitchen,
"Ooh I'm hoping I'll get a slice!" Yelled Emily coming in from work.
"Hey mom!"
"Hi sweetie, having fun?"
"Yeah! Vinny is teaching me how to make a cake"
"For my birthday of course" I grinned playing X box with ghost on the sofa,
"No Chris it ain't your birthday"
"Of yes it is"
"Oh no it's not"
"Yup"
"No"
"Yessss yessss it is" I sang,
"Yeah it is he's turning 58" said ghost,
"Hey," I hit his arm,
"Chris you get one slice" said Emily kissing my cheek
"Urg fine"
"What colour should the icing be?"
"Black!" I yelled
"Nah red" said vinny,
"Nah baby pink" said ghost
We all looked over to him,
"What its cute"
"Baby pink it is!" Yelled Chrissy.
"Alright we'll put this in the oven and were good to go!"
They both tidied away the kitchen until vinny looked at her bandaged arm,
"What happened to your arm crystal, you burn it or somthing?" Said vinny,
"U-uh"
"Well, you'll never guess what happened, we were playing football and Elise tripped over the goal post and bam, sprained wrist"  I smiled backing her up, placing her on my hip,

"Ouch, sounds like a sore one"
"Hey crystal how about us two head outside and help me sort stuff out in the shed"
"Sure"
I put her down and we both walked hand in hand outside,
We got into the large wooden shed at the bottom of the garden.
I closed the door and wrapped my arms around her tightly kissing the top of her head.
"Was that alright back there?"
"It was perfect dad"
"Good"
"How about you and me take a trip huh?"
"A trip where?"
"Dunno, it's a surprise, just for a few days"
"Alright"
"I love you crystal you know that? And you don't have to say to anyone if you don't want to,my ou say in your own time"
she smiled letting a tear fall down her cheek.
"I know"
