-Emily's POV-
"Bye babe, have a good day at the studio" I smiled kissing his lips softly before he headed out the front door.
"Bye girls!" He smiled getting in his car and driving off.
I turned to Christa and smiled.
"Well, now that we have the house to ourselves what would you like to do"
"I dunno, whatever you like just as long as I'm with you" she smiled.
I blushed as my heart skipped a beat,
" you really wanna spend time with me" I asked
"I haven't in a while. And besides I think I need some girl time" she shrugged,
I smiled and kissed her cheek.
"Chris told me you like photography how about we go out for a session"
I watched as her face lit up.
"Yes please"
I smiled and brung her into the study.
I handed her a camera.
"I love this camera, it was my first one I ever owned when I was around let's see,  17? Can you take good care of it for me?"
"Yes"
I smiled "you know all the controls right?  Like ISO, depth of field, auto bracketing techniques, shutter speeds and such?"
"Yep!"
"Good then let's go"
I got intomy car and drove off with my bruised yet beautiful daughter and headed to the lake.
"This place is pretty"
"I know right" I smiled posing the camera at different angles and Adjusting  the lens and modes to create different and interesting effects.

We snapped around 50 images each.
"Hey you wanna go up there?!  We could capture the sunset before me leave"
I asked pointing up to the tree,
"Sure!"
I grinned and climbed the tree and so did Christa.
We both sat up on the branch and watched the sun go down.
"I hope today wasn't too boring" I shrugged,
"Actually I really enjoyed my day here. It was peacefully pleasant"
I smiled and took more shots on my camera.
"I'm glad we both have something in common"
"Me too" she smiled.
"So how did you and Chris meet them" She asked.
"Well where do I begin ha ha, I didn't get on with my dad who I was living with, he treated me really bad ever since I lost my mom. Anyways I was visiting her at the graveyard and that's where I met him. I then later ended up homeless. I ran away from my dad one night and he seen me in the streets and well, he took me in. We then fell in love from there" I said with pride.
"I wish I could have a boyfriend like that"
"You will, you just gotta wait for the right person to come along"
She smiled at that.
"I love it up here" she added.
"Me too, Chris hates it when I come up here though" I said standing up on the branch ready to get down
"Why?" She said standing up too
"Something about me not being careful"
"Uhh shouldn't you climb down from here?" She asked
"Nah"
I jumped from the tree.
"Mum!" She yelled.
I lay on the ground. With a bruised and almost dislocated arm
Christa helped me up and I smiled.
"Come on then let's get home before your father gets home"
She nodded.
"You one wacky lady mom"
"That's what Chris says"
