FROM THE START

First Day in High

Isabella's pov

"A new school a new beginning. A new chapter to be written". Yun ang mga linyang sinasabi ko habang iniisip ko ang kalagayan ng panibagong school ko bukas. Aish. Nakaka- kaba. First, dahil wala akong kilala doon ni isa which will make me more like a stranger than I am before. Second, kailangan ko pa bang isa- isahin kung bakit. Natural naman diba sa isang tao ang kabahan dahil lilipat na siya ng panibagong school/ work.

"Huy Bella! Kanina ka pa nakatulala dyan nandito na tayo sa bagong school mo"

"Oo nga pala. Thanks. Bye Mi!" sabi ko kay Mama with a peck on her cheek.

Pagkalabas ko ng kotsye nakita ko kaagad ang school. Tch. Nakaka- kaba. Nakakapanibago. Sigh*. Dumiretso ako sa gate at tinamaan ng kaba ulit. Nakakapagtaka nga lang dahil wala akong nakikitang masyadong tao. May lalaking papalapit sa akin at ayon kinabahan ako ng todo..

"Uhm Hi. Are you a new student or something?" I just nodded and made a small smile facing him. "I'm Nathan Collin, President ng school na ito but you can just call me Nath" he said while offering a handshake. I quickly respond "I'm Isabella Clarkson pero tawagin mo na lang akong Bella or Ella depende na lang sayo" I said while giving him a small smile. "I-i'll give you a tour here in our school. If you wont mind" he said with a grin on his face. Natawa ako ng onti but just nodded.

It took us almost 1 hour para libutin ang buong school. Grabe. Ang laki pala ng school na' to compared from my old school. After that, pumunta kami ng gym. "Okay Ella. Dito na nagtatapos ang tour. For sure naman hindi ka na malilito diba?" I just nodded then said goodbye while waving my hand. He did the same thing at pumunta na ng office. Lumingon ako at nakita lahat ng estudyanteng naghihintay sa mga adviser or first subject teachers nila. Whew. Ang daming estudyante dito.. Hinanap ko ang ibang classmates and luckily nakita ko yung banner na may section namin. Dumiretso ako sa likod ng pila at napansing may mga taong tumitingin sa kin. Dinedma ko na lang cause my two only reasons ay dahil hindi ko pa sila kilala at I'm keeping my stubborn identity.

Our first subject or should I say our adviser arrived 10 minutes before starting ng klase namin. I was relieved dahil kanina pa kami nakatayo at napaka awkward. sigh*. Nasa tapat kami ng classroom namin habang binubuksan ng adviser namin yung pinto. Pumasok kami isa- isa habang pinagmamasdan yung paligid and I was impress, this was the first classroom na mas maayos at kumpleto ang mga gamit.. We we're assigned to our seats. Sigh* buti na lang babae ang nakatabi ko at hindi lalake or else mangyayari na naman yung eksenang yon. 

"Okay class. Although hindi pa natin kilala ang isa't- isa, I want to have a fresh start so starting now your'e going to call me Miss. Rey. I will be your first subject teacher everyday and I will be teaching Science. So let's start this with a introduce yourself shall we? Let's start from the girl near the door up." sabi niya then suddenly tumayo yung babae at pumuntang harapan. Mukhang kabado but who could blame her? We're the same. 

"I-I'm S-Sofithia Andres at transferri student lang ako galing Isataniel School sa San Isidro. Mahiyain po ako pero y-you'll get to know me soon." she said while giving a faint smile. "Okay.. Nice to meet you Sofithia. Next student please".

It goes on and on hanggang dumating sa yung introduce yourself sa akin.. I just stood up and carry all the courage. "I'm Isabella Clarkson. 17 years old. Ella or Bella na lang ang tawag niyo sa akin, I would'nt mind it at all. I hope sana maging maayos tayo." I said then bowed going towards my seat. Pheeww. Nakakahiya buti na lang tapos na.

Natapos na ang lahat ng estudyante except from the boy na nakaupo sa tabi nung bintana.. Suddenly, tumayo siya at pumuntang harapan.. " Hey! So I'm Dylan Cameron and nice to meet you" he said with a big smile in his face. I admit it was a little cute yet weird kasi wala pa kong nakita ni isa sa mga classmates ko na ngiting ngiti ang binigay..

Kinalabit ako ng katabi ko "Bella right?" she said while offering a handshake. I responded quickly by shaking her hand also. "Yeah I'm Bella. You're Adeline right? Nice to meet you" I said while giving a small smile. "Oo ako si Adeline at nice to meet you too"she said while having a grin on her face. I just nodded while giving her a small smile. She chuckled then we both put our attention to our teacher again.

It was finally lunch. I quickly pulled out my lunch from my bag then open it. Pinagmamasdan ko lang yung mga kaklase ko habang kinakain yung lunch ko. They were just like me. Eating their lunches quietly. I just sighed then paid attention to my food.

It was finally dismissal. Inayos ko kaagad yung mga gamit ko then headed outside the room then to the school gate. Hinihintay ko si Mama para sunduin niya ko dito sa school. Suddenly, my narinig akong busina ng kotsye. Nakita ko kaagad yung sasakyan ni Mama. Pumasok ako sa loob ng kotsye then peck my mother's cheek. 

"So.. How's first day?" she said. 

"It's fine.. I guess." I said while giving a weak smile. "Pero it will be better. I promise" I continued para hindi na siya mag worry ng sobra..

She then replied with a smile on her face then continued driving towards our house.

I've already finished my school tasks/ requirements for tomorrow. Then I go downstairs to eat dinner with my family. After that, I read some books then go straight to bed. I was lying in my bed realizing also things that happened today. I sighed then turn off the lamp besides me. Next thing I know, I as already asleep.
