Chapter 13

Oscar's P.O.V

"Hey jackass move" I get shoved out of the way by the one and only Ray Charles. "You heard me move before I pulverize your face." He is Maggie's boyfriend....

"Ray leave him alone." I hear a voice call to him. Ray just sighs and seemed to be listening to his friend but then turned really fast. He kneed me in my stomach and kneed my face. All I felt was a great survey of pain erupt from all over my body but then I went numb just watching him punch my face repeatedly. Then there was the kicks and I thought I was going to defend myself this time but didn't. The feeling went away as fast as it came but now it was useless to fight back.

"Hey you boys stop it right there!" I hear a loud voice call out but I saw all the guys disperse into the school. That's when I feel someone holding me up but I was getting to tired to stay awake. "I'll find out who did this kid don't worry." I try to thank whoever it was but I bet I mumbled nonsense. "You can thank me later okay I'll check up on you." I nod but feel my weight give in on me. Darkness that's what fell upon me like kryptonite.

"He is Oscar Y/L/N a junior that has been raising his grades up significantly."

"Why would those boys go after him like this?" I hear that gruff voice that helped me out. "He is my family now, Kristy I expect him to be okay and well." I try and see where the voice came from but I could barley shift.

"I know Osvaldo don't worry about it, he is fine now that you brought him in. You should notify your brothers and sisters."

"I will babe don't worry." I finally see a man kissing a young woman. "Let me know if this continues and I'll personally talk to those kids."

"You know your not allowed to talk to minors without parental consent." I hear him sigh and I shift trying to sit up. I turn to face them both and see my school nurse there with a man I have never really seen before. I met some new members of my family but would he be included?

"Ah I see your up now and that means we can talk." I sigh and nod but then feel pain in my ribs. "That pain will be there for a while sadly. You are fine just bruised up a bit now tell me are those boys bullying you?" I gulp not wanting to talk to a stranger.

"Uh I don't know you sir and I'd prefer to just go to class if that's alright miss Martinez." She laughs and shakes her head.

"Well its actually soon to be Mrs. Y/L/N, Oscar but don't worry about it. Osvaldo let him head to class he doesn't need you to be on his case 24/7 when you haven't before. Your on the clock so you should go before your boss calls in to see where you are." He nods and looks at me making me gulp. I saw our resemblance now and feared for how many more were to come. He looked older like older than my brothers and sister.

"I'll be leaving and I expect a talk between us soon understood?" I sigh and nod my head.

"Stop by the house then and you can talk to me all you want. You are my brother after all aren't you." He freezes and nods his head.

"Now as for whether your staying or going home. Oscar I suggest you go home and rest." I nod and pull out my phone ready to call my brothers. That's when the big guy takes my phone.

"I'll be taking you home come on." I sigh and have him help me up and out of school. Taylor sees me and runs into my direction but this guy's stops her. "Sorry miss but I'll be taking this boy home for Se unity reasons."

"She is my friend let her be dude and sorry Taylor I have to go home since you already know who does this shit." I point to myself and she nods her head.

"I'll be over later to check on you okay and you wouldn't happen to be a Police officer would you?" She asks this guy that so happens to be my brother. My brother smiles and nods his head.
