Chapter 11

(Sorry I've been gone but I'm back in the writing game.)

Lauren's P.O.V

I've been avoiding any contact with her since I saw her get off that SUV. She's my body guard... she will be around me all the time... I want her... ugh why are all this ideaso going through my head.

"Lauren what's up?" I hear Normani say from besides me. Looking curious as to why I was groaning in a frustrated manner.

"Just thinking over what's to come and how I feel..." She nodded her head and turned to look where Dinah went off to.

"I know... she's you body guard for the entire tour. Heard she tried to end the contract but they said they would be suing her.." I nod and sigh realizing that she was only here because it was necessary.

"I know she is just doing it out of obligation..." I sigh and lean back looking out the window. "What do you think she is doing?" She laughs at my random comment.

"Well Dinah went with her so... crazy shit?" I laugh and shake my head because Dinah was on another level we can't reach. I sigh knowing Dinah could talk to her like it's nothing but I couldn't...

"They are probably just talking but go make sure she's not going overboard. Before you go though can we talk?" She nods and I smile knowing I could talk to her about anything. "Do you have an attraction to Dinah?" She gulps and blushes making me smile. "Ah so you do?" She nods making me smile because Dinah does too.

"Why did you ask? Is it that obvious!?" I laugh at her hysterics and shake my head.

"Not for her or anyone else but me and...Y/N." She sighs relaxing in her seat.

"Does Dinah know?" I shake my head and she exhales again. "She doesn't see me that way though besides wasn't she seeing that boy from California?" I laugh and shake my head because Dinah has always had eyes for Mani.

"They broke up a day in since she didn't feel anything for him. She likes someone else but you would need to talk to her to know who." She looked happy then sad as I said she liked someone else.

"So she likes someone...." She says sadly but I groan.

"Dude go talk to her about who she likes right now! Like your not going to let anyone snatch her away right?" She laughs and shakes her head as she runs off in the direction of the girls. I sigh and feel accomplished at least in that. Mani deserves someone who can make her happy, and so does Dinah. They are cute in every way and I need them to have them happy at least...

Y/N's P.O.V

"You have a cute voice dude and that song....it's Amber Run. You sounded so crushed yet you still pulled through that song..." I laugh a little as she called my voice cute but she knew exactly who I was listening to. I give her major props because they are so underrated.

"Well thanks for the compliment and well uh yeah... I pull through a lot believe me. You know the deal already and why I'm here, along with how everything went down." She nods and leans back in the seat she is in.

"Well you'll pull through... Lauren loves you though that's clear as day." I grunt making her look at me annoyed. "She does why would I of all people lie?" I roll my eyes because Lauren doesn't want me near.

"I'm only here to protect her after I heal properly. Give me a few days and that's all I'll be doing. I'll be her protector and nothing more. She deserves better than me and she knows it because she doesn't want to be with me. She'll get over me it's just a matter of time and I will try and do the same." She sighs and nods her head making it look like she was giving up.
