Chapter 15
Abi was relaxing in a hot bath. She lifted her foot, trying to see how much bubbles se could balance on one foot. She had a date. She couldn’t believe what was happening. It felt like yesterday that she met Andrew Cash. She smiled, thinking about their first encounter. On the other hand, it has only been just a month, and so much has happened. Never in her entire life would she have thought that she’d be lying in a bath, on her way to a mysterious location with the evil and annoying Captain Hook. This was some twisted love story. She strongly believes that Walt Disney‘s intention with the two characters was not for them to fall in love. Realistically speaking, Tinkerbell in Peter Pan didn’t have as much issues. She had one little problem. She loved a boy that didn’t love her back. She wished that was her only problem. She switched feet. No negative thoughts. Think about happy things. She felt her body go warm. The kiss...She closed her eyes briefly, thinking about the amazing moment in her kitchen. Never in a million years did she think she could ever respond to a man’s kiss. The thought was repelling. The times she did allow someone to kiss her, she wanted to puke every minute of it. She didn’t enjoy physical contact; she wanted them to leave her alone. She felt panicked, and it always brought up very bad memories.
Not today. When Andrew was standing so close to her, she didn’t experience the normal anxiety. She was excited. Short of breath. Her heart was beating unbelievably fast. But these emotions and feelings weren’t the type of heart palpitations and shortness of breath that she normally experienced. She bit her lower lip. She could still feel his lips on her’s. Electric shocks went through her body again. She couldn’t get enough. It was like nothing she has ever experienced. Her body’s response shocked her. As he pulled her close, she found herself pressing harder against him. Her senses went haywire. Every place he touched her burned, tingled. As he lifted her on the counter, she could feel all her defences fall to the ground, as if he lifted her out of them. There was nothing preventing her from enjoying this man’s touch. Suddenly she was overcome by so much emotion. The one thing she was the most afraid of after the attack, was that she would never be able to be a real woman to any man. She was scarred, broken. She truly believed that it was impossible for her to ever have a positive reaction to a man’s touch. She was going to lose out on one of the most beautiful things in life. But here she was, her legs wrapped around this dark haired man, his hands roaming over her body, eager, but still respectful. She felt warm tears well up in her eyes. Streaming down her face. She knew she could trust him. Knew she loved him. Knew she could tell him about her terrible secret.

Abi found herself standing in front of her closet. Nothing seemed pretty enough for Andrew. She wanted to blow his socks off. Outfit by outfit is set aside, rejected for some or other reason. Tiny was rolling around on her carpet, making playful growling noises. Abi was too consumed with het outfit dilemma, and only noticed too late that Tiny was suspiciously silent. She knew that wasn’t good news.
“Tiny! Where are you boy?”
He was MIA. With a frown she walked from her room to the bathroom, no dog in sight. As she moved closer to the kitchen she heard some growling/tearing noises.
“Tiny...?”
Suddenly the sound stopped. As she put on the light, a black figure ran towards the couch, jumping up on it. There was Tiny, ears cocked back, clearly as excited as only a dog can be. In his mouth was something pink. It looked a lot like her...
“Tiny! My bra!!”
Abi ran towards him, but he was too quick. Cunningly he pushed open the screen door, running into the front yard. Standing on the grass, bra hanging from his huge mouth, looking at her, mockingly. He knew she wouldn’t come after him, since she was only wrapped up in a large towel.
