Jaxs POV!

"Its nice to be able to be out and not worry about having a target on our backs." Bobby stated and i smiled. I put my arm around my wife and she grabbed my hand.

"Yeah it is, lets try and keep it this way huh boys?" Tara said and the guys and i laughed.

I reached for my coffee and took a sip, and as i went to set it down a black SUV sped out of the parking lot, ignoring the stop sign and screeching into traffic. I looked at the empty spot next to my best friend and my heart had skipped a beat.

"Jacklyn." I pushed Tara out of the booth and ran out into the parking lot, towards the back of the lot where our bikes and my sisters Jeep were parked. I had the rest of the club and Tara right behind me.

I walked between the row of cars and when i got to the back of the lot i saw her lying on the ground, in the middle of the lane. I stopped and brought my hands to my head, falling to my knees. I felt the tears fill up my eyes and roll down my cheeks. Opie and Chibs ran over to her, and Tara sat next to me, pulling me into her arms.

"Tara we need you, Jax she's still breathing!" Opie had shouted. Tara stood up and walked to her and Bobby pulled me up.

"Come on, we gotta get her to St. Thomas." He said while helping me up.

We carefully got my sister into the backseat of her Jeep. Opie sat back there with her, holding her head in his lap. I could see the hurt fill his eyes, as he worried about Jacklyn's life.

"Take care of her, please." I said to my wife as i gave her a kiss.

"I will Jax, I promise." She climber into the driver's seat, and drove to St. Thomas.

"Call the prospects, tell them to come get Opies bike." I climbed onto my bikes and Chibs pulled out his phone. Once he finished his phone call we all started our bikes, and headed to St. Thomas.

Jacklyns POV

My eyes fluttered open, and then adjusted to the bright white of the room I was in. I turned my head to my left and saw my mom asleep in a chair next to me, with her head on the bed. I put the pieces together and figured out i was most likely at St. Thomas. I felt the pain in my abdomen, and in my head. I reached over and pressed the call button, and the shifting of the bed woke up my mom. She sat up and looked and me, instantly wrapping her arms around me.

"I was so worried you wouldn't wake up." She pushed the hair out of my face, and Tara came in through the door.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" She walked over to the computer and started punching things in.

"I could use some water."

"Here hun." My mom held the cup with the straw in front of me and i grabbed it from here, drinking the water and getting rid of the dryness in my mouth.

"Do you have any pain?" I nodded and handed the cup back to my mom.

"Can you just tell me what happened, and what's wrong with me?" My mom looked and Tara and then back at me.

"Don't you remember hun?" I shook my head no.

"Gemma, can you give me a few moments with her." My mom stood up and grabbed her bag.

"Yeah, i'll go call Jax, let him know she's awake." Tara waited for my mom to leave the room then she sat down.

"So, what's wrong with me doc?"
