Chapter 16. FOOD FIGHT!

Teresa's POV

For a second no one does anything. Then Ms. Hampton gets hit in the face with tomato sauce. "It's on!!" Angie yells. Then the entire cafeteria dissolves into chaos. I throw a plate full of shrimp at Kas and Angie smashes a whole pie on Ms. Hampton's face. For at least ten minutes everybody is getting killed with food. "Stop this right now all of you!!!" Ms. Hampton yells over the noise of everyone laughing and screaming. Everyone freezes. "The next person to throw any food will have detention for a month!" Ms. Hampton yells. Angie shrugs. "I've got nothing to lose." She grabs an enormous platter of pork roast that should have been way to heavy for her and throws it at Ms. Hampton. It hits her so hard she falls over. She sits up covered in pork and gravy. For a second everyone is speechless. Then Angie turns around and stares at everyone. "No one asked you to stop! Carry on." She says. No one makes a move. "I guess I didn't make myself clear enough. ATTACK!!" The cake at the center of the room explodes and everyone starts throwing food again. A whole bunch of cake ends up on my face. Corey walks over to me and wipes some icing off my face. He licks it off his fingers. "So delicious." He says. "Want to taste something even better? Taste my lips."I say. I grab his face and start kissing him. For what seems like hours we just stand there making out. Corey finally breaks away from me. "Lets go somewhere more private." He says. "Ok." He holds my hand and we run out the door. He leads me down the street and we end up behind the shed at his school. We start kissing again. By the time we stop it's past midnight. "My mom is going to kill me." I say. "I'd better go." Corey leans in for one last kiss. Just before our lips touch, he whispers, "I love you Teresa." I smile. "I love you Corey Fogelmanis."
