SPOV:

The phone call from Harry took me by surprise and the sound of his voice made me fall to pieces. I missed him so much and the reassurance from Gemma was forcing me to let my grudge fade away. I didn't want to mad at Harry anymore. I didn't have the energy to spare. Things were picking up at work and Kerri was keeping me updated with the arrangements for Charlie.

Harry had sounded so broken on the phone and I had wished that I could have spoken with him longer, but when he called I was running errands and dropping off art after I had left the hospital.

"You've tortured him long enough", I thought to myself and Gemma's support had washed away any doubt I had at work.

We had been pitching a few ideas back and forth for the concert assignment through the week and the excitement was starting to consume me.

"I mean, this is kind of a big deal. It will be the first time this band will have a large piece. I'm actually considering making this the cover story."

I tore my eyes away from my note pad to look up at her. She was smiling over the brim of her coffee mug.

"Ha, You're joking. I mean, am I even qualified to do that?"

"Stevie, honey, you're more than qualified. Will is going to help with the article but I want you two to collaborate. Get some shots at the concert and we'll go from there."

I still wasn't comprehending what she was asking of me, Holy shit. She was actually considering making my article the cover piece and all I could do was sit there and look stupid.

"So it that cool with you?" she said when she got off the phone.

"Uh, well I mean, um..." Oh my God, someone needed to hit me with a brick.

"Stevie, don't hurt yourself. I'll pitch it to the rest of the board and see what they think. I'll let you know."

I answered with a nod instead of audibly replying. It didn't work out so well on my first attempt.

"Fabulous. I'll let Will know and then you guys need to meet and figure out who's doing what."

I nodded again and then gathered up my things. I let out a heavy sigh when I left her office. I made my way to my desk, passing Will's on the way. I smiled at him and returned the gesture.

"How's it going, Stevie?" he asked. I sat my things down on my desk while I answered.

"Um, pretty good. Gemma just dropped a bomb on my and don't know exactly how to take it."

He raised a brow, "Oh yeah? Tell me about it."

He turned away from his computer screen. He was currently in the middle of editing a shoot he had taken for a piece with Jared Leto. I told him how jealous I was when he had gotten the assignment. He had laughed and told me that I couldn't get all of the good ones or he would have nothing to do. His skills were amazing and always offered help when I needed it.

I shrugged, "Well, she wants us to work together on the One Direction piece. She says that it has potential of being the cover article."

His eyes widened and his mouth was agape.

"What? Holy hell, Stevie! That's awesome! And she wants us to work together?"

"Yes," I said, excitedly, "she has to pitch it first, but oh my God!"

I couldn't help but do a small happy dance, making Will laugh.

"That's great, Stevie, honestly and it's good to see you smiling you again. It's been missed."
