Marine Life? Sure. Boys? Hell no. (Chapter 8)

Dominique

I sighed as I snuggled up closer to Aiden, resting my head on his shoulder and looking out at the city. "I really love balconies, they just make everything look so much prettier," I sighed, smiling up at him.

He chuckled, looking down at me with loving eyes. "Yeah, I guess they do," He said while stretching lightly, his robe slipping and showing his perfect abs. I smiled, I still couldn't believe he was mine. I was so in love with this man...now there was only one issue, I just needed to tell him that. And after the time we just had in the shower....well lets just say, if he was the guy in high school that fucked me over, at least the sex would have been good.

No, Dominique, don't think like that. Aiden is not one of those guys, defiantly not one of those guys.

"Uh, babe, did you hear what I said?"

I snapped out of my daze and smiled up at him. "No. sorry about that, I kind of dozed off there a bit," I admitted while blushing softly.

He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "You thinking about my awesome body naked, babe?" He asked me while winking.

I shook my head, laughing. "Maybe, and maybe not," I replied while standing up and walking back into the room. "Now, what were you saying before I dozed off?"

"Well," he muttered while following me in. "I was saying that since you didn't have to leave for school until about two, maybe we could go out and take a swim, and than have lunch quickly before you leave."

I smiled, nodding. "Oh my goodness, Aiden. That sounds perfect," I hugged him tightly.

He sighed gently, hugging me back. "Now I just have to convince myself to be able to let you go so you can get to class later," He muttered into my hair while chuckling.

"Well..." I drawled out, "I don't really have to go to class," I muttered against his chest.

He just chuckled, pulling me away lightly so he could look me in the eyes. "Yes, you do have to go to class."

I frowned lightly, sighing. "I know."

"Well, how about you go change into your swimsuit, and I'll change into mine and than we head down to the pool? Do you wanna invite Ian and Ren too?"

"Sure," I smiled at him. "I'll go call her right now," I jumped onto the bed like a little girl as Aiden laughed and grabbed my cell phone, dialing Ren's number.

I could hear a faint noise once she answered, and that a muffled voice. "I repeat, get the hell out," She said, to Ian more than likely. "Hello?"

I laughed lightly. "Renny," I wined lightly. She probably wont like that, considering I do that every time I want something, I thought.

"What the-?! Oh, Mee-me. What's up?"

I smiled softly. "Uhm...I was thinking, that you and Ian should join me and Aiden by the pool...Please."

"Can we leave the asshole out of it?"

"No, we cannot. Ren. Stop with the whole pretending to hate him deal. I've known you for a long time, better than a lot of people know you, and I know that you like him, so stop with your bullshit and just live a little!"

"I am not pretending, the dude gets under my skin and I don't like it."

"No, what you don't like is admitting that you might like someone. You think you have a bad feeling about him, but there is nothing to fear about him, Ren. You're holding yourself back, your mind is over thinking things way to much. Just let go, for a little bit? Please. I don't like you being like this, you haven't been yourself."
