*Alex POV*

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping through the opened window. I slowly sat up and looked to see that Phoenix wasn't in her bed. I yawned as I rubbed my palms into my eyes, trying to wake myself up.

I climbed out of the tangle of blankets I had created in the night and walked down the hallway, following the voices that I heard. I found myself back in the living room where the others were already sitting. I went to go sit by Connor on the couch, laying my head on his shoulder as I yawned again.

"And our sleeping beauty awakes!" He said with a grin. A small smile formed on my lips but I said nothing as I was still tired.

"So, can you repeat the prophecy?" Austin asked Phoenix, and she nodded her head.

"A quest of 5 will set out

But they will be burned down

Meet their worst selves

While one dies the rest survive

The quest of 5 will not retry

A one way shot to kill a bird

As the white wolf closed in on all of the camps

A quest of 5 close as night

A quest of 5, one will not survive

The warrior who has a bite

They will face hardships

And fail

The quest of 5 and one will not survive"

Phoenix grimaced as she looked at all of us. Peter was sitting on one side of her while Austin sat on the other. Apparently, Peter had been filled in about our quest.

"Let's start from the top and make our way down as we try to make sense of what it's telling us." Austin offered.

"But remember, prophecies can mean more than one thing," I responded and Austin nodded his head.

"I just thought it might be a good idea to at least try to understand."

"You're right. Well, we've already got a group of five. Being burned down and meeting our worst selves, though? Hmm..." I said, as I unconsciously bit my lip. What on Mount Olympus could that mean? Being burned down...

"Isn't there a myth about fire?" Connor asked, and I nodded my head.

"There's the myth about Prometheus stealing fire from Zeus and giving it to mankind to help them survive. As punishment, Zeus had him chained to a mountain being eaten by vultures for eternity. Later, though, Hercules saved him from his suffering."

"I bet he regretted giving fire to mankind," Cyprian muttered, and I shook my head.

"He actually kept on thinking about the future, happy in the knowledge that he had given fire to men. But I think you have a point about this myth Connor."

"What's the mountain called that Prometheus was chained too?" Connor asked, and I snapped my fingers as I remembered.

"The Caucasus mountains. It sits between the Black sea and the Caspian sea. Wait, what if the prophecy is telling us we have to go there? To where Prometheus was chained?" I asked excitedly, almost bouncing in my seat. Phoenix nodded.

"That would make sense. We should go there then and scout the area out."

"But the next line of the prophecy says, 'Meet their worst selves'. What if by going there, we meet the bad side of us?" Austin asked, and I shrugged.
