Chapter 13

*Phoenix POV*

Looking at my arm, the scratch started to look like a bite. And Austin wouldn't let me leave his cabin he took me back to check on my arm. But more and more it was starting to look like a bite mark. I blushed as Austin leaned down and put his face real close to mine.

"Don't mess with it you'll hurt yourself."

I listened to him a lot more now ever since last night before Apollo came, Austin asked me out and I had to say yes. He is the cutest thing ever.

"Yes sir," I laughed because he scowled, "Relax it was a joke."

"I understand that but you have no idea how bad you scared us, me especially. I'm the person that take cares of people and I couldn't get you to wake up or even get you to calm down. Phe, look I was scared you were gonna be..... well gone."

Before he could finish I cut him off. "What do you mean"

"There is a prophecy about a group of 5, a weird number, but it says something about a faint wolf and a bitten warrior. I just don't want that to be you because it also says that one will not make it back but be trapped forever. I didn't want that to mean you."

Austin finished saying all of this and lifted his head to look in my eyes. I looked at him and kissed him.

"I will never leave, don't worry."

He smiled and sat down next to me as I put my head on his shoulder and he started to sing. As he finished I was half asleep and the Stoll brothers and Alex getting attacked and shouting about a golden net and a wolf.

I instantly got up and sprinted towards the Big House and Chiron yelled at me to get back. The wolf turned around, it was the wolf from my dreams. I screamed, and it ran towards me, and Nico appeared in front of me in a flash of light with Mrs. O'Leary. Nico turned around and grabbed my waist pulling me backward as Mrs. O'Leary barked at the wolf. Alex ran over to Nico and as Alex got there Nico grabbed our hands and shadow traveled.

We were in the Big House all the sudden and my arm felt terrible and the stitches had been torn open again. Alex had fainted. The Stoll brothers ran in with Austin and yelled for Alex as they quickly moved her to the infirmary. Austin stopped by me and I yelled at him to give me his bow and to go help my best friend.

I ran outside and the wolf was still there so I grabbed the arrow which turned out to be poisonous and I shot the wolf. It hit the wolf's back leg and it whimpered as it ran off.

I walked back inside and Austin had woken Alex up and he started to me. I hung my head and showed him my arm the stitches had been torn out and my arm was bleeding. Austin sat me down and redid the stitching while Alex and I yelled at the twins. Both of them smirked at their victory from the net but they never got their answer.

Austin finished and Rachel Dare walked in with Cyprian as he finished his quest a few hours ago. He ran up to all of us and hugged everyone and hugged Alex and me the longest. I smiled.

"Hi, Cyprian."

" Hey, baby sister Phe."

"Hey!" Alex cut in.

"And baby sister Alex."

Everyone started to laugh and Cyprian started to talk about his quest. How he battled cyclops and talked with Thalia. He even saw Luke's reincarnation at the bottom of the Empire State Building. He explained everything that he ate including some weird fried Oreos. They sounded amazing. But he also described the battle he had with a giant dog-scorpion thing. The thing had stabbed Cyprian and the quest had to be shortened to get medical attention.

"But anyway that's not why I'm really here. To brag about me being better them y'all fools." He stated at pointed at the twins.

"I brought him here because we need to talk well more or less you hear a spoken prophecy. And I forget my I'm here." Rachel spoke and green fog surrounded her and she spoke in a long distant voice.

"A quest of 5 will set out

But they will be burned down

Meet their worst selves

While one dye the rest survive

The quest of 5 will not retry

A one way shot to kill a bird

As the white wolf closes in on all the camps

A quest of 5 close as night

A quest of 5, one will not survive

Rachel finished and the fog was lifted and Austin was holding my hand. Alex and Connor were holding hands more like deathly fearfully holding hands but still. And Cyprian looked fine.

A loud cackle sounded around the room and in the mirror on the way had four faces in it. Apollo, Aphrodite, Iris, Hermes. All four spoke in idiom for the first part of the said.

"You are the ones to complete the quest except for the second twin brother he stays here to ensure the safety of camp. Now we have spoken please consult the Oracle if you need the prophecy again."

With a smoke, the faces were gone and Alex and Connor and Travis walked out of the room as Cyprian walked hand in hand out the door with Rachel. Man, he was an over bubbly person.

I looked at Austin and he smiled and nodded.

"No matter what happens I will protect you in every way possible." I smile.

Austin picks me up bridal style and carries me toward his cabin.

"Your staying with me tonight, princess"

I blushed a deep red scarlet. Wow, he was so sweet but a little dramatic. I closed my eyes and went to sleep with Austin singing a lullaby.
