Hello darkness, my old friend
Let's go play, not pretend
I want to go back, to a child
Take all off, denial.
Can I turn back time
O' darkness mine?
To extinguish the fire
From the start. I'm so tired
Need no more warmth
Stone cold, want to be, break all farse.
Well you see, darkness mine
I can no longer follow my heart, all mind
Do you care if we share space,
In this hole in my chest, your grace?
It pleases me to see you here.
No longer alone, no more fear.
As you took the last of emotions.
Left me stone cold, ferocious.
Why do you not care, darkness mine?
I shared my space, blood colored wine.
To you, a toast
Let us drown, in the tear coast.
In me, you recide
Let's us be together, o' darkness mine.
