Youth - Troye Sivan

The main door opened with Avery pointing her gun, revealing Isaac, Luna, Nyko and a few others who were dying. "Please, help." Isaac pleaded.
"Please Avery. Its a sickness. We lost more than 40 on the way. They need Skaikru medicine."
"Please don't turn us away because of what I did to you." Luna pleaded to Avery as Abby came through the crowd. Avery looked to Abby before she nodded and they both walked forward.
She went straight to Isaac and helt the girl he was holding up.
"It's ARS." Abby announced. "Don't worry, Its not contagious."
Bellamy came through the crowd and took the girl while Avery took Isaac. "What happened to you?"
"I was checking up on Lexa, then I saw Roan in charge. I rushed back to Luna but before I got there, I saw her fighting to get here." Isaac told her. "Will they be okay?"
"I don't know, Abby's the doctor not me." She told him.
"Thank you for taking us in." He said with a short smile.
"No problem." She smiled moving towards Bellamy.
"Raven's looking for us. Who's the grounder?" Bellamy said, trying not to sound jealous but totally sounding jealous.
"You're jealous." She smirked as they entered engineering. "Don't worry, it's cute on you."
Rave pointed to the screen,"So Luna's rig is here, and if the fish in these waters are dying, well, basically we're screwed."
"I don't understand. A.L.I.E. said we had six months."
"We don't." Raven deadpanned.
"Well, then how long do we have?"
"It's hard to say. Radiation is dispersed by jet stream and carried by ocean currents, so it's not an exact science, but the leading indicators are small species die-offs -- fish, insects. Based on the new data, I'd say we have... two months of survivability... maybe less." Raven huffed.
"The Ark won't be ready."
"It'll be close. If we triple the man hours and work round the clock, we should be able to achieve a hard seal before the black rain comes. We just have to decide who gets to live here." Raven said, looking to Clarke.
"Raven, we're not talking about the list again."
"Clarke, we are running out of time. We have to make a plan for the day we close the doors, drill for it, make sure only the survivors have guns, agree on protocols for dealing with the people who are pissed off they're not chosen. You asked me to be in charge of rationing, and I am doing it, but choosing who gets to live or die is your specialty." Avery frowned slightly before hearing the engine of the rover start.
She walked outside, knocking on the door to the rover for Jaha to come out. "Are you crazy?" Avery said in a sickly sweet voice.
"I need to make a run."
"Yeah. Crazy people don't go on runs." Avery said, as he walking off and she shut tge door.
"And shouldn't you be working on the patch to sector 5?" Raven reminded him.
"A patch for a ship that can only save a hundred people? Why are you surprised? I am an engineer. We have no way to generate water. The harder number is 400. Can you really sentence 400 more of our own people to death?"
"We don't have a choice." Clarke exclaimed. Avery looked around, then going back to the convo.
"What if you do? What if I told you there might be a fallout shelter less than a day's drive from here, a fallout shelter built to sustain thousands?"
