Avery ran as fast as she could towards the cells, there was shouting coming from there and that only meant trouble. She ran through the crowd as Kane came behind her.

She pulled her gun up to someone as they went towards Ilian again, he stopped but instead she put her gun to the air and shot once, making everyone stop, silent. "I will shoot the next person who touches this man, so help me." Kane added.

They all waited there a second before leaving. Avery sighed, before moving to Kane. "Thanks."

"No problem." she replied before turning to Illian "I'll take him to Medbay... I need to see Octavia anyway."

"We lost the server room, all of our processors and life support systems and half our living quarters." Monty told them. Avery was next to Bellamy as he gave the news. "Back up power should keep the lights on in the rooms that survived but we'll have no heat or running water. And no way to restore it or seal the ship before the radiation gets here."

"Well is there any good news?" Bellamy asked.

"No one died, that must mean something."

"Forget the ark, we need to focus all our resources on the night blood solution anyways." Clarke told them.

"The fuels in the process of being loaded but it isnt going to be easy." Avery replied.

"What don't I know?" Clarke asked Avery before she turned to Roan.

"With the secret of praimfaya out, I sent Echo and my army to polis to keep peace, but half of them deserted on the way. With the end coming, they just want to be home. I dont blame them."

"Well Roan here is a trick question. Do you blame them for burning trikru villages on the way?" Avery asked, while tilting her head to the side with a frustrating smile.

"Thats funny coming from you after what your boyfriend did to Lexa's army." Roan shot back to Avery making her roll her eyes.

"We're not dating!" The couple both yelled to him. He nodded unconvinsingly.

"Yeah, sure."

"Enough." Kane stopped just as Avery was about to add. "We know the woods are a warzone. After what happened with Illian, I cant spare many of the guard to protect you." He told the pair, making them look at each other.

"My security detail can protect us." Roan volunteered, making Avery and Bellamy glance at each other for a second before both death staring the King.

"Thank you, thats very generous."

"We're all in this together now."

Avery rolled her eyes again before commenting to Bellamy. "Why do I feel like he's quoting from high school musical?"

"I'm going to check up on O."

"I'll see you later. Give her my undivided love." Bellamy chuckled before leaving with Roan and Monty left the room leaving Clarke, Avery and Kane. "I am coming with you."

"No you're not." Avery shot back.

"I'm the chancollor."

"Thats why you're not going." Avery told him. "After what happened with Illian this morning, our people need you." Avery then smirked, looking up. "You're worried about Abby."

"She's going into space." Kane replied. "In an 100 year old rocket. Do you have any idea how many things could go wrong?"

"Raven said the rocket is intact. She also said she'd prefer more fuel but as long as we get her what she's got. She said she'll get them both down safely. Raven and I have both done the math and If all goes well, they'll come home." Avery reassured him. "If that was Bellamy up there, I would feel the same but we have to at least try, for the sake of the human race." she said before she realised what she said.
