Jaha spoke to the group. "There is an underground aquifer, with a filtration system that is still operational. Some of the water will go to the hydroponic farm. Isn't that right Mr Green?" Jaha pointed to Monty who was standing next to Avery and Bellamy.

"Most beautiful thing I've ever seen." He replied before whispering to Harper. "Almost."

"There will be plenty of hard work to go around, But together we have struggled and together we will rise." Everyone cheered. "Pack your things, just what you can carry. We leave at first light."

Avery put her hand on Monty's shoulder with pride. "You, my friend, are awesome."

"Thank you. Thank you."

"So Jaha was right."

"Got alot of gear to pack." He told the pair before smiling. "Sure you're not too hung over?"

The couple looked to each other before back at Monty. "You judging us, Monty?" Avery smirked.

"A little."

"There was no hope, now there's hope." Bellamy smile before calling for Monty and Av to come over. "Come on, lets go." They walked up the hanger bay to the bar to find Jasper at the bar. "You're going to love it." Jasper helt his cup at them before they walked off.

"Just give them a minute, they'll figure it out." Avery reassured him, "Take the still."

"No need, There's one in the bunker."

"Fancy, being trapped in a bunker for 5 years, it's like the ark all over again." Avery said sarcastically before walking quickly away.

"I'll speak to her." Bellamy told Monty before following behind her.

Bellamy found Avery lying down on the bed, contemplating life. "Av." He smiled as she turned when heard him come in. "What's wrong?"

"On the ark, I had you, Octavia, your mom, my mom. Now half of these people are gone and last time O radioed she gave me no context and I'm scared of what's going to happen to us down there."

"The bunker isn't the ark Av. We can do whatever we want down there, and it's only five years. By the time you get out, you'll be 23, I'll be 28."

"You're getting old." She laughed before he leaned down to kiss her. "I'm lucky that I still have you."

"I am too."

All Avery heard from the inside was loud rock music blasting through the speakers. A guard knocked on the door before speaking. "It's jammed, same as the other but this one is the one to blow."

"How many gas canisters do we have?"

"Jaha, please shut up." Avery asked, infuriatingly. "In mount weather we beat the gas by water. Jasp will be ready for that."

"Agreed." Monty highfived Avery.

"Slow down, Let me talk to them." Bellamy told them.

"Bellamy, we have over 400 people ready to march." Jaha spoke again. Bell banged his fists on the door, getting a response from Jasper by him turning the music down.

"Gun."

"Harper's."

"How many more were armed Avery?"

"I don't know but a few."

Jasper put his hand to the window, showing three letters. DNR. "Do not recusitate." Av translated for those who didn't understand.

"Jasper, put down the gun and open the door." Bellamy spoke.

"We're not coming out."

"This is insane." Monty commented before walking to the mic. "Are you really willing to do when there's a chance to live? Are they?"

"Thats it. We don't think it's a way to live."

"Just go. Please." Harper told them, making Avery look up from the floor.

"Is this really what you want Harp?" She spoke into the mic, hoping she would say no but not even being surprised when she said yes.

"We're wasting time, set the charge. You can go to guns . Do not fire unless fired upon" Jaha ordered but Av stepped in front of him.

"Jasper, people will get hurt, I know you care about that." Bellamy begged.

"If you don't want anyone to get hurt, don't open the door." Jasper replied, the guard pushed past Av and set the alarm.

"Mr Jordon." Jaha spoke. "I will not leave children here to die."

"You sent them down here to die, the difference now if that they have a choice and so do you?" Bellamy spoke.

"What are you talking about?"

"This is what they want Monty." Avery whispered, getting ready for an uproar from him.

"They're wasted. They don't know what they want." Monty replied to them as Av put her arms around herself and looked down. She watched Jaha look through the window before giving an order.

"Stand down. Get ready to move out."

"What? No, you can't."

"I'm sorry son, Bellamy and Avery are right. You can't save them if they don't want to be saved." Jaha walked away, gaining a bit of Aver's respect for him back. Monty turned to Bellamy.

"If that was Octavia, would you let her stay?"

"If O was in there Mont..." Av began. "At least we would get the chance to say goodbye."

Bellamy walked past Monty, putting his arm around Av as they walked away.

Avery walked with Bellamy as he gave orders, she spotted Jasper and Harper come out of the room, approaching them. "It's not too late to change your mind."

"Yes, It is." Jasper replied. "You two can still stay?"

"Not a quitter."

"Totally a quitter but I'm tagging along for the ride." She smiled. "Seeing where this'll take me."

"Thanks for understanding." Jasper told the pair.

"We know what it's like to lose each other," Avery replied. "Just be happy in your last day, the both of you."

"Where's Monty?"

"Unloading the rover. We're leaving it behind in case any of you change your minds." Av smiled to Harper. "He didn't say goodbye?" She shook her head.

"Look after him for us."

"You didn't even need to ask Harp." She replied. Harper and Avery both hugged before she hugged Jasper as well.

"May we meet again." Bellamy told them when it has is turn to hug Jasper.

"We won't."

Bellamy paused before continuing. "Whatever the hell we want." They all laughed, before the two hugged.

They all smiled once more before Av and Bell walked outside.

Bellamy, Clarke and Avery stood at the tower in Polis, looking down to the city. "The city is the battlefield, no time limit, no guns."

"And the winners clan take the bunker, just like that?" Bellamy asked, getting a nod from Clarke. Av sighed, laying her arms on the edge. "Without guns, and without anyone trained in grounder combat, there's no way we can win."

"We fight or we die." Clarke replied.

Av heard a familiar horse coming through and she let out a laugh. Av ran down the stairs, running up to Octavia who had just come down from the horse.

The pair both smiled cheesily, embracing each other.
