-Jackie's point of view

I sighed and looked over to the so lovingly couple. I couldn't help but stare. The girl I'm in love with is currently with someone else.

I was supposed to be that guy. I was supposed to make her smile. Maker her laugh. Make her mad. Make her cry. Make her everything! But I'm not.

"Dude, you've been glaring at Calum for ten minutes straight. I suggest you stop before Brenda gets mad." Gilinsky told me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Uhh, yeah. You're right." I sighed, looking away.

"Cheer up. Look, I'll have a best friend day with her, and I'll ask. Just don't give up, because I'm sure that she'll come around." Gilinsky said, patting my back.

"Yeah, you're right." I shrugged.

"When aren't I?" He chuckled.

"Okay guys! Let's go out to eat." Nash shouted.

"Where?" Brandon asked.

"Let's go to some fancy place. So we have about two hours to get ready." Cam answered.

I looked at Brandon's reaction. She didn't like fancy places.

*flashback*

"What's your favorite restaurant for a date?" I asked Brandon.

"McDonalds!" Brandon smiled widely.

"Really? Wouldn't you like some fancier place like Quince in San Francisco, or Per Se in New York?" I asked surprised.

"Oh my goodness, no! I don't like fancy places. First of, you have to dress real fancy or they won't allow you to eat. Second, you get a shitty portion of food. It's barely anything! And third, it's expensive as hell! You can just go to McDonalds and buy shit load of food for a small amount of money!" Brandon ranted, making me laugh.

"True! True! You have a point." I smiled at her.

You're special in your own way.

*end of flashback*

"Okay! Then let's get going so we can get ready!" Mahogany squealed, dragging Brandon and Crystal out.

"Lord have mercy." I mumbled, making the boys laugh.

-Brenda's point of view

I sighed as the girls kept talking about what they were wearing on the way back to the hotel.

"Calm down, love. Just take an hour-long nap." Calum suggested while rubbing my arm.

"Yeah, I'll do that." I smiled.

"So what are you wearing Brenda?" Mahogany asked me.

"I don't know." I shrugged, looking at her through the front mirror.

"What do you mean you don't know?!" Crystal started panicking.

"It's just a stupid fancy dinner. I'll just throw on whatever." I shrugged.

The rest of the ride was silent. I didn't mean it in a bad way, but their comments got on my nerves.

"Girls, I'm sorry for snapping at y'all like that. I'm just kind of stressed." I apologized as we walked to our the hotel rooms.

"It's okay. We understand." Mahogany smiled reassuringly.

"Can y'all wake me up in an hour?" I asked.
