-Brenda's point of view
I looked out the bus window, as we traveled to our next location. We were on our way to Manchester. It was 8 in the morning, yet I couldn't seem to stay asleep for long. This was going to be our last stop before we went back home; however, the boys were coming to LA to work on their music.
"Hello, honey bun." Ashton chuckled, sitting next to me.
"Hello there." I laughed.
"What do you have there?" He asked, looking at my notebook.
"Umm, just some song writing. Nothing much." I shrugged.
"Can I see?" He asked.
"No! This is personal." I mumbled.
In a sudden move, he managed to take my notebook out of my hands. Once I got out of my trance, I ran after him.
"You got me sippin' on something
I can't compare to nothing
I've know, I'm hopping
That after this fever I'll survive." Ashton read to the guys.
"Hey! Give that back!" I yelled, reaching for my notebook.
"No can do, love." Calum smiled getting my notebook, and raising it up. He was much taller than me, so it wasn't the prettiest show.
"Why haven't you released these songs? They're amazing!" Luke asked, flipping through the pages.
"I was going to do it when I got back to the states." I mumbled, looking at my feet.
"How did you even get inspired? These lyrics are powerful!" Michael commented.
"I don't know. They just come out naturally." I shrugged.
"Okay guys! We're here! You may all go roam the city, but be back before midday." Adam, the manager, announced.
I got my notebook back, and placed it in a safe place where they couldn't get it. I exited the bus, and walked around without an actual destination along with Calum. I was kinda hungry though, so we agreed on looking for something to eat.
We ended up in a cute, small cafe. I walked in with Calum on my trail. We decided to sit in a small table at a far corner. After we ordered, we broke into a conversation.
"How do you feel about coming to the states?" I asked him.
"I mean, I've already been there, but staying longer in LA is amazing. Even though it's for work, I'm very excited." He answered. "How about you?"
"I'm excited. I'm going to visit my family first, and then I'm going back to LA." I smiled.
"How long has it been since you've seen your family?" He asked.
"It's been a couple of months. Hey, would you like to meet my parents? I've already met yours." I suggested.
"I don't know..." Calum spoke.
"Come on! I'll arrange somethings so you can meet them. I'm sure they'll love you." I insisted.
"Ugh fine." He gave in. "But don't leave my side."
"Deal." I smiled.
Once we went back to the bus, we headed to the venue for sound check. I walked around the stage, preparing the instruments needed. A couple of hours later, the show started. I was the opening act, so I had to go first.
The venue's light went dim, and the brightest one was pointed at me. I took a big breath I before started to play the piano.
"Ooh ooh ooh

My smile only grew wider. The cheers would get louder by the second. I bowed down.
"What's up Manchester?!" I yelled into the mic. "How are y'all?"
"Give it up for Five Seconds of Summer!" I yelled once again.
The boys came up on stage. "Thanks love. You did great! Wish me luck!" Calum said kissing my cheek.
I stared off onto the side. I hadn't realized how many people actually saw me perform. It was unreal.
"Hello?" I answered my phone that started to ring.
"Brenda? Hey! Are you coming to visits home after the tour?" Crystal asked.
"Yeah! I'll stop by before going to LA." I answered.
"Great! I'll see you there! Oh and by the way, I finally found an apartment for both of us. It'll be ready when you get back. I love you!" She explained.
"Love you, too!" I mumbled before hanging up.
In a couple of weeks, I was going to be able to go back home after a year. I was going to make more music, and be closer to my family.
