-Brenda's point of view

I called Jackie for what seemed like the 100th time. He went out for the night, but it's almost six in the morning and he still isn't back.

Since I didn't want to be alone, I went over to Crystal's house. Matthew decided to not go out in case Crystal's water broke or something. She's due any time this week, so he stays in to be careful.

"The person you have dial-"

"C'mon Brenda, get some rest. I'm sure he's going to make it back." Matthew assured.

I nodded and walked into the guest room.

"Your Daddy is being a piece of shit right now because he was supposed to be back more than four hours ago." I rubbed my belly.

Slowly, I drifted off into deep slumber.

Bang!

I was awakened by a loud noise from downstairs. I got up, and decided to check what the noise was.

"I smoke two cigarettes and I don't even smoke." Jackie sang to a Gilinsky.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Johnson went crazy on us, so we tried calming him down. I decided to let him crash at my place so he wouldn't hurt you or something. I was going to text you, but my phone died and I was too busy taking care of Johnson. As you can see, he got pretty fucking wasted." Gilinsky chuckled.

"Goodness gracious, what am I going to do with him?" I mumbled to myself.

"If you want, I'll take him to the guest room for you." Gilinsky offered.

"No, I think I'll take him back to our house. I don't want to bother Crystal and Matthew anymore." I shook my head.

With the help of Gilinsky, we got Jackie into my car. We waved goodbye, and headed off in different directions.

"Babyyyyy!" He cried.

"Yes?" I mumbled.

"No! Baby, baby, ohhh! I thought you'd always be mine!" He sang.

"You're an idiot!" I rolled my eyes.

"That's not wat you said last time w-"

"Jack!"

"Why'd you call me Jack?" He asked.

"Because that's your name." I mumbled in a duh tone.

"But you only call me Jack when you're mad." He pouted.

"Well maybe if you were back at the time you were supposed to come home, I wouldn't be mad." I smiled innocently.

"But I was having fun!" He whined.

"And I wasn't because I was waiting for you!" I exclaimed.

"Gilinsky wouldn't be mad." Jack mumbled lowly.

"What'd you say?"

"Nothing."

"Mmhhmm."

Once we finally arrived at our house, I helped Jack into the house. I made him sit on the couch while I made him coffee.

"Here." I handed him the mug.

"What's this?" He asked.

"Coffee."

"But I hate coffee!" He whined.

"And I hate when you come home late, so suck it up, and drink the damn coffee." I snapped.
