"LYSS!!" I heard Lyla yell as I opened the door to the compartment after saying goodbye to Albus and walking as fast as humanly possible away.

"Yeah?"

"WHO WAS THAT?" I immediately saw the coy grin on her face.

"Who?" I replied innocently.

"THE BOY YOU WERE TALKING TO IN THE HALL DUH"

"Okay shhhhhh you're so loud." She rolled her eyes at me as I said this, we all knew I was equally as loud. "And you know who that is Lyla don't pretend."

"We should start calling you Grace by the way" Iris chimed in. I childishly stick out my tongue at her.

"So what did he say when you ran into him?" Melanie wiggled her eyebrows at me.

"Oh stop it Mel!" I laughed, "he didn't say much... because who can get a word in when I don't stop talking" I groaned at my own actions.

"I'm sure it wasn't that bad" Iris told me, ever the calm one.

"Have you heard how much Lyss talks?" Lyla chimed in. I glared at her and she smirked in reply.

"I may have rambled quite a bit" I shrugged.

"Well I mean at least he got entertainment" Mel laughed. I punched her in the arm, lightly of course.

"Where are the boys?" I asked, "maybe they'll save me from the interrogation."

"Barry and Stef are at the candy trolley" Mel answered.

"THEY FOUND IT? How come I couldn't find it?"

"Maybe because you suck at looking for things" I heard a voice behind me say. My face lit up in a smile.

"Aaron! What are you doing here??" I asked.

"Hey you're not excited to see the rest of us?" Stef laughed.

"Of course I am stupid" I ruffled Stef's long hair, "but I haven't seen Aaron in forever. I saw you all summer long."

"What about me?" Barry asked.

"Eh" I replied, "you're okay. But Mel is excited to see you right Mel?"

"Um yep" she glared at me but shot Barry a smile. I'd been trying to get them together forever but this year was the year. I knew it.

The first of them I'd met had been Aaron. He was my closest guy friend, my confidant and advice giver. He'd introduced me to Stef, his Hufflepuff roommate and since I was hanging out with Puffs I met Mel and Iris. Barry had met us through Stef since their families had known one another before they started Hogwarts. Last came Lyla. She was a year younger than us and had really only joined us last year when she overheard Mel, Iris, and I in the library talking about musicals and literally screamed, which got us kicked out of the library. The rest, they say, is history... or maybe more of a future. I'm not really sure where I was going with that.

"Aaron how have you been?" I asked, sitting down.

"Pretty good" he replied. I could tell he was hiding something from me, but I didn't push it.

"Stef did you bring me chocolate??" I asked, turning to him with wide eyes.

He laughed, "of course. But you owe me a sickle for all the chocolate frogs and pumpkin pasties I got you." I eagerly handed over the money to trade for the food, smiling wide.

"Lyss was just telling us about the boy she ran into in the corridor" Lyla told them. I poked her in the side and rolled my eyes.

"What boy?" Barry asked, wiggling his eyebrows (see how much he and Mel have in common?? I'm telling you it's meant to be)

"I literally ran into Albus Potter" I told them with a straight face.

"Of course you did" Aaron laughed.

"HEY!" I pretended to pout.

"And I missed it?!" Stef laughed with Aaron.

"You didn't miss much" I told them, "nothing happened."

"We'll see about that" Barry smirked. Shite I forgot they were roommates.

"BARRY YOU CANNOT SAY ANYTHING OR SO HELP ME GODS I WILL KICK YOU AND YOU KNOW WHERE I MEAN!"
Barry continued to smirk, but I saw a look of fear cross his eyes for a millisecond.
"MEL" I complained, "help me out here."

She raised her hands in surrender, "I refuse to be a part of this."

"What good are you?" I sighed.

"Wow" Mel replied, but I knew she wasn't really offended.

"Lyla?" I moved to her next. Iris would never help me, she was a lover not a fighter (at least until it came to house-elf rights then gods help us all. She read Hermione Granger's thesis on it and was hooked)

Lyla glared at Barry until he looked genuinely scared (for more than a millisecond this time) then she turned to me a smiled wide, "all better" I gave her a high five. Barry was scowling now. Mel just patted him on the head sympathetically. As he sat down next to her. He leaned his head on her shoulder faking despair, then sat up and put his arm around her. My eyes widened. I turned to Lyla gesturing. Her eyes widened too, but we didn't say a word. Stef, on the other hand, silently took a picture.
