"He Lyss wake up" Al whispered in my ear, "we fell asleep but we're here."

"Yeah you guys were so cute" I heard Lily say from next to me, "we were just talking and then I looked over and you were sleeping on Al's shoulder and he was leaning on you." I blushed.

"Come on" Al said, taking my hand, "everyone else is already here. We can leave your trunk in the car for now." I gripped his hand tightly as he led me into the house to meet his entire family... Oh gods I was getting nervous again. "hey" Al said, pulling me out of my thoughts and towards the far corner of the house. As much as I really liked him and enjoyed kissing him and all, I really hoped that wasn't why he was pulling me over here. I mean this was my first time meeting. His family and I didn't want to make the wrong impression and I was already nervous enough as it was. "You don't need to worry" Al told me. "They'll love you. And if they don't it doesn't matter."

"That was not reassuring!" I said, looking up just barely to meet his eyes.

"Lyss what's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing" I said quickly.

He gave me a look. "I know you" he said, "and I know that's not true."

"I just- You have a huge family. Did you know that?"

"Yes I'm aware" he chuckled.

"And they all- I'm meeting all of them in one day."

"Well Uncle Charlie and Uncle Percy and his wife won't be here until tomorrow" he told me. It was my turn to give him the look. "Okay okay" he conceded, "not helpful"

"But I know that your family is really close" I told him, "and I totally get that. I share everything with my family too. But I don't wanna mess this up and there are so many people here to mess up with and every one of them is important to you and I know their opinions matter and it's just a lot of pressure."

"Lyss you're important to me too okay?" He told me, lifting my chin up from where I was looking at the ground so that I would meet his eyes again, "and one bad opinion, though I know there won't be any because like I told you before they're going to love you, isn't going to change my mind about that. Okay?" I nodded and he kissed me in the forehead before taking my hand again and leading me towards his family.

We went by order of a importance, or at least that was what it seemed like to me. Nobody seemed bothered by it though. Everyone in Al's family had accepted the fact that in a family this big you couldn't be equally close with everyone. Since I had already met his immediate family, we went to Rose's parents next (it was hard not being able to call everyone by their last name as I had done growing up, but here everyone was Mr and Mrs Weasley).

"Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron" Al said, "you know my girlfriend Alyssa right?"

"We knew her as Rose's friend but not officially as your girlfriend" Hermione told him.

"Hello Hermione, Hello Ron." I had already been told to call them by their first names when I had been to their house to get ready with Rose and the girls for New Years. Because I already knew Rose's parents, Al steered me away from them quickly and towards the next group. This one happened to be his Uncle Bill's family. Al introduced them as Bill, Fleur, Victoire, her fiancé Teddy Lupin, Dominique, and Louis. After that was George, Angelina, Fred and Roxanne. Then we went to hang out with the kids again. Albus led me towards the backyard where Rose, Hugo, and Lily were. It was just starting to get dark.

" do you wanna sneak away for a second?" Al asked.

"To do what exactly?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Hey! Don't misread my intentions!" He said, "I know it's hard for you to keep your hands off me but-" he stopped because I had slapped his arm again. "I'm just messing with you" he said, "geesh, but I wanted to show you my favorite spot at the Burrow." He began leading me, as he had done all night, to an orchard behind the house. "We usually play quidditch here" he said, "but it's quite a nice place to think when it's quiet. Somehow even with all the shade from the trees you can still see the stars if you lay down on your back." He laid down on he grass and I laid next to him. Then he pointed up at the stars, pointing out constellations, which I was surprised he knew. "That one is Sirius, the Dog Star and the constellation over there is Orion. Those are the ones that my dad's godfather was named after. He was related to Scorp you know? Scorp is named after a constellation too, runs in the family I guess. His is over there..." I stopped hearing what he was saying, and only hearing the tone of his voice and not the words, and drifted off to sleep laying on his shoulder yet again.
