It was Saturday and no word from Scorp. I mean, we had talked all week but he had never really told me when he was free... or who his friend was that he was going to "meet" with. Not that it mattered. He could totally have other friends. And for the record, Al could too. I had my own friends.

When I woke up and didn't see an owl at my window, I assumed he had forgotten about me. Obviously it wasn't important enough in his mind. Which was fine. It wasn't going to be a big test anyways and he had said that I'd probably pass. Plus, I knew he had quidditch practice today. I started to get ready just as the girls were going down to breakfast.

"Hey guys, can I study with you for Arithmancy today?" I asked, "Scorpius said he was going to help me, but I think he has practice."

"Yeah no problem" Alyssa said, " and BG the way, you might want to be more quiet. Jessaline is still sleeping."

I nodded, "thanks. I definitely don't want to wake her up"

"We're going to the library after breakfast if you want to meet us there. The boys are coming too" Lyla told me.

"Perfect" I said, "I'll see you then." They left for breakfast and I threw on a green t shirt and jeans before going down to the Great Hall. Today Al and Scorp were at the Gryffindor table, so I went to sit there. I didn't say anything to Scorpius and began to shovel food onto my plate.

"Someone's hungry" he commented.

I just scowled and glared at him. "For future reference, don't ever comment on how much a girl eats. It's like saying she's fat... also it's a sure way to get hit with Aunt Ginny's famous bat bogey hex."

"I'm not saying you're fat Rose!"

"Well it seemed to be implied."

"No" he insisted, "it wasn't. At all. Sorry you thought that." Then he turned to Al, "why is she so grumpy this morning?"

"I heard that." We spent the next five minutes in an angry, and for Al's part confused, silence.

"Soooo" Al said, trying to ease the tension, "before you got here Rosie I was telling Scorp about how it's crazy that we're only a month in and I'm already failing potions."

"That's fun" I responded, uninterested.

"Very" he replied, "and mum's going to kill me so I need a tutor."

"I'm not tutoring you Al"

"Pretty please Rosie? I'm your favorite cousin."

"I'm studying for an Arithmancy test this weekend." I glared pointedly at Scorp after saying this. Of course, he wasn't paying any attention.

Al caught on quicker than expected. "Oh so you're studying for arithmancy?" He said loudly, "who with?" Scorp still wasn't paying attention so Al shrugged an apology towards me.

"Melanie, Iris, Alyssa, Lyla and the boys apparently" I told him. Then I had an idea. "Hey" I said to Al, "what about Alyssa?"

"What about her?" He asked, but I could see a trace of the Weasley blush he'd inherited from Aunt Ginny creeping its way up his cheeks.

"She's top of the class in potions" I told him, "I'm studying with her today, but I'll ask if she can tutor you tomorrow. Does that work?"

"Uhhh. Yeah sure" he said, "thanks Rosie."

"My pleasure" I smiled. I'd have to talk to Vic about teaching me her matchmaking skills.
