Twelve Years Later
The blaring sound of the alarm clock woke up twenty-two year old Lisa Cimorelli. Her heart was pounding and she felt slightly light headed.
She always felt like this when she woke up from having the same dream over and over. She was reliving the memory of the car accident that cost her family their lives.
She wondered why she didn't die too, then she realised it was God punishing her for behaving stupidly in the car. She had to live with the guilt and the heartbreak for the rest of her life.
She sighed as she threw the covers off of her slightly sweaty body and shivered as the cold air hit her.
She got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, glancing quickly at the picture on her bedside table. It was her and Christina after Lisa had won a soccer tournement.
She had scored the winning goal and all day, Christina kept telling her how proud she was.
Lisa felt her heart hurt at the memory. She had let Christina down. She had killed her.
She turned the shower on and whilst she waited for the water to heat up, she looked at herself in the mirror. Looking back at her, was her younger sister Lauren...Everyone said how much they looked alike.
She had been in a coma for twelve years. Lisa refused to turn the machine off...Even when the Doctors told her Lauren would never pull through she couldn't do it.
She knew Lauren was practically dead but she was still here, Lisa could still see her. Could still touch her. Talk to her. Tell her how much she loves her.
She wiped away a few tears before stripping down and getting in the shower, her facial expression turned to one of pleasure as the hot water began to relax her. She quickly washed her hair and body before turning the shower off and grabbing a towel, wrapping it around her body and wrapping one around her hair.
She wasn't like the other girls who would just lounge around in their towels for hours after getting out. She grabbed her clothes for the day then removed the towel around her body and dried herself properly.
She quickly put her clothes on as she felt herself getting cold and then removed the towel from her hair. She quickly combed her fingers through it, before plugging in her hair dryer and proceeded to dry her hair.

Every morning she would walk to the local coffee shop and order a normal coffee and just sat down at a table, people watching. Everyone knew her name but she didn't bother remembering their names.
She walked in and was greeted by the owner.
"Hey Lisa! Usual?" She smiled.
Lisa nodded her head. "Yes."
"Coming right up! Hey Paige, here's a simple one for you. Just a normal coffee, think you could manage that?"
"Yes Boss."
Lisa sat down with her back to the counter and looked out of the window.
A man with his child were laughing down the street.
A woman walked hand in hand with her husband or boyfriend as they walked their dog.
"Excuse me?" A voice spoke.
Lisa turned her head and looked up, her eyes locking onto the most beautiful baby blue eyes she had ever seen.
"Are you Lisa?"
Lisa nodded her head, being unable to speak as she got lost in this girls eyes.
"Here's your coffee." She smiled as she leaned down slightly to set the coffee down. "Today's my first day so please, if the coffee isn't up to your standard give me a shout and I'll make you a new one free of charge."
Lisa's eyes wandered to her name tag and saw her name was Paige. The girl that the owner, Vivian was talking to.
"Thank you." Lisa replied shyly.
As Paige walked away, Lisa grabbed the handle of the coffee cup and took a sip and nearly moaned at how amazing it tasted. She had never had a coffee so good before.
"So how is it?" She heard Paige ask.
Without turning around she said "Good."
She made sure to never stop coming here if it meant that she got amazing coffee...The employees weren't so bad either.
