Paige stormed into the coffee shop and slammed the door shut, scaring the customers slightly. They watched her as she walked into the back. She began to take deep breaths in an attempt to calm herself down.
"What the hell was that about?!" Her Aunt whisper shouted.
"She's a little bitch. I try to be nice and she freaks out. That's the last time I'm nice to her." Paige whisper shouted back.
Vivian's eyes softened as she placed a hand on Paige's shoulder. "What did you say to her?" She asked, knowing she was talking about Lisa.
"I gave her, her stupid picture back and her ten dollars back. She freaked out on me, I was only trying to help. Next time I won't bother."
She heard knocking on the counter so she straightened out her outfit before putting on a smile and walking out to serve the customer.
Her smile soon fell when she saw who was in front of her.
"Hey Aunt, serve the customer please."
"No please. Don't ignore me." Lisa said quickly. "I...I came to apologise for how I was.." Lisa was close to tears and she didn't know why.
"Sorry won't cut it. I was being nice and helping you. I'm never helping you again." Paige hissed before turning around and placing some cupcakes on a plate and then placing them on one of the cake stands.
Lisa watched her, her bottom lip trembling. A single tear fell from her eye. She felt hurt, but she knew it was her own fault.
"I'm sorry Paige." She said not taking her eyes off of the dark haired girl. "I really am."
Paige heard the door open and then close. She felt bad but she hated people when they were being ungrateful. If she hadn't of found that picture someone else might have and Lisa might not have seen it again.
"Paige, I told you to be careful." Vivian sighed.
Paige shrugged her shoulders, acting like she didn't care...But in reality she did. She cared a lot.

It was now nine PM and Paige had offered to close the shop for her Aunt. She had just finished stacking the chairs when she heard a scream come from outside.
Quickly grabbing her jacket, she exited the shop and locked the door before running down the street.
With the street light being her only source of light, she could hardly see where she was going but as she heard whimpering she knew she was close.
She looked down an ally and saw a man struggling to hold something down. She slowly made her way over and saw he had pinned a woman down.
She didn't have to think twice as she walked closer and then use all her strength to kick him hard in his side.
He coughed and gasped for air as he rolled off of the woman and Paige kicked him again, knocking the air out of his lungs.
She grabbed a brick and hit him over the head twice before kicking him once more.
"You're a sick bastard." She hissed before turning around to face the woman who was sat against the wall, covering her face as she cried.
"Hey." Paige spoke gently as she walked towards the woman. She placed a hand on her shoulders and her lips parted in surprise. "Lisa." She whispered as Lisa looked up.
Lisa began to cry harder as she stood up with Paige's help.
"Are you okay? Did he actually do anything to you?" Paige asked as she led them away from the ally.
"No." Lisa shook her head quickly.
"You're freezing too, how long have you been out here?"
"I wanted to apologise to you again...Try and make you listen..."
Paige felt her heart drop, Lisa had been out here for hours waiting. If Paige had just accepted her apology none of this would have happend.
"We should call the police." She said quickly.
"No. Someone will find him..With a head injury like I gave him..He won't get far." Paige studied Lisa's face and saw blood dripping down her face. "Let's get you cleaned up."

"Just make yourself comfortable." Paige said as she closed the door.
Lisa walked towards the sofa and sat down, she kept her head down as she felt shy and nervous.
Paige soon came back and sat next to her.
"This will sting a little." Paige said sadly as she began to clean Lisa's cut and face.
Lisa winced slightly as Paige dabbed directly on her cut.
"Sorry." She whispered before pulling out a band aid and gently placed it on the cut on her forhead.
She closed the first aid kit box and then cleaned up the used cotton ball and band aid wrapper.
"You can stay here tonight." Paige offered. "You can take my bed and I'll take the sofa, it's fine."
"I can't do that."
"Yes you can and you will."
Lisa looked up and gave Paige a half smile. "What happend to never helping me again?"
"That was then. This is now."
Lisa surprised Paige and herself as she wrapped her arms around Paige's neck in a small hug. "Thank you."
