"I thought you miss me why did you attack me like that?" A guy that I didn't expect to be here. A guy that I didn't want to be here is now right in front of me, smirking like a jerk. He was wearing a nice suit, I expect nothing less from him. With this look, nobody would dare to approach him because he look so intimidating right now. Is he doing this to impress my parents?
"You....." I was speechless. I didn't know if I felt happy or angry. He got up, dusted his pants and gave me a warm hug. I didn't break free instead, I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him back. Ahh this feel so nice.
"Seems like you're not mad anymore" he chuckled and kissed my forehead once again. I was still shocked by the fact that the person that I miss the most is right beside me so I tried to hide my smile by lowering my head down, hitting his chest lightly.
"Your family is waiting for you. Come on, I brought you presents too" he winked and waited for me outside.
My brain snapped back to reality. It's currently seven in the morning. I'm glad Daniel is here because my mom is too happy to yell at me for being lazy. I repeated my boring morning routine and put on a little bit of make up. I tied my hair into a bun and went outside with my pajamas on.
"You go first" I whispered at Daniel and he grinned. I walked behind him and slowly made my way downstairs. Everyone were gathered next to the Christmas tree that Dana and I decorated. Everyone were in their festive pajamas too I thought I was the only one who's too lazy to change.
"Good morning" I smiled nervously. Daniel bowed in front of my parents. My mom covered her mouth with her hand and told him to get up. My dad on the other hand suddenly turned mute, it's like he only know how to smile. I tried to hold in my laughter.
"I can't believe a guy like you is attracted to my daughter. I've always been worried about her future but seeing you two lovebirds right now really took away the pain" My mom laughed cheerfully but Daniel remained professional.
"Mom! He's not what you think he is, don't put me down like that I'm attractive too....." I mumbled.
"She's right about the last part. Your daughter is a very beautiful person both on the inside and outside. That's her charm" Daniel gave my mom a warm smile. I blushed a little hearing it from him all of a sudden really make my heart fluttered.
"Sweetie!" My mom clicked her tongue and glanced at my dad. "I want them to get married the sooner the better I mean just look at them! They're meant to be"
"MOM!" I groaned as the whole family start laughing.
After chitchatting in the living room beside the tall Christmas tree, Daniel took me upstairs. He told me he has a special gift for me. I started to panic at first because I didn't buy any gift for him. I did told him not to come though so it's not my fault I'm not some type of psychic.
"You can just give it to me when we go back to America....." I mumbled.
"I wish I could" he smirked and told me to sit still while he went outside to grab it. It didn't take long for him to arrive with a fancy gift box in his hand. I got a little nervous because like I said I can't handle surprises or should I say I dislike them very much.
"Do I have to close my eyes?" I asked sarcastically.
"Don't be cliché" he clearly didn't get my sarcasm but whatever. He handed me the box and sat down beside me. I held it with both hands, it wasn't that heavy. The box was pretty wide but thin like a chocolate box. I shook it, I can hear the insides hitting each other.
"Stop! You're going to break it" he grabbed my wrist and let go after finishing his sentence. I mimicked him and took a deep breath before opening the box.
