Secrets (LafayetteXreader)

Part 16

You take a deep breath of fresh air. "What a day." You look around and to your left you thought you saw James, but of course he wasn't really there. Then you heard a couple of shouts, you started looking closer, oh wait he is really here.

"Y/N!!!!! Y/N!!!! Y/N!" You just stare at his running. A little wobbly, but cute. He was just such a cinnamon roll in general. 

He ran past you, trying to stop. Then he turned to you, "Omg, Y/N! Your ok, I was so worried about you!" 

You lifted an eyebrow, "Don't waste your breath, anyway why are you here?" James smiled, and dang did it melt you, but of corse you didn't like him😏. 

"Im here, because is been awhile, and you wernt answering your phone!" Your eyes widened, "James, shut up! This is like back in the old days! We don't have phones!" James liked an eyebrow, "Well can't we make it into a modern AU?" you shrugged, "Sure."

"Anyway, back to the script." You fixed yourself on the bench, "Why are you here?" James took a deep breath, "Um...I was scared and you wernt answering your phone!" I sat and looked to the trees.

"Laurens is my brother." James stood there for awhile then sat down, his knees weak, I saw his palms sweaty.(Yes I did make that Eminem reference). "Yah.....I know." Your hands flailed in the air then smacked to your thighs.

"Of corse you did, I mean why wouldn't you. You don't even know that much about me, yet you knew about my own brother and I didn't!" 

James's gaze fell to the ground, a tear followed after. You felt bad.

"James.....I....Im sorry." He looked up at you, "No, Y/N, don't be! I should of told you. I mean you have the right to know some things, but you can't tell Thomas ok." You nodded, "Do we promise to be honest with each other?" He nodded.

"Ok well, first things first." You smiled as he began to talk, "Lafayette is actually coming tomorrow! As a surprise!" You gasped and hugged James. "Well I guess you could of kept that a secret." You giggled and he turned red, "Its ok, Ill act surprised, but the main feeling is love!" James smiled and you hugged him again.

"The other thing is, the group or whoever is trying to kill you. Found out a major secret, it made their plan much easier! They are going to have a plan 6 months earlier!" You gasped, "Crap, we have to make our plan, but I still need to know who we are up against." 

James gulped down his fear and frowned, "Remember Adrienne?" I nodded, "Yah its her." You smiled under your breath.

She took Lafayette, forced him to love her, he could of died. She could of shot him any second, one blow to his head, but she didn't. When you see her, it will be different. 

Unlike her, you won't waist a second.
