Prompto X Reader: Parting Ways

Retrieving the Regalia

It's like it never ends. Countless numbers of magitek engines left and right, above and beyond. It just doesn't stop!

There was one minute where you got caught and Noctis had to almost expose himself in order for you to be safe.
"You are our eyes! Please be more cautious!" He says quietly.
"I'm trying my best here!" You say back just as quiet.
"Yeah, give her some credit, man!" Prompto agrees quietly.

Ignis points at the red tower.
"You see that?" He says.
"See what?" Prompto says, he's facing the wrong way.

Gladio moves his head towards the red tower Ignis is pointing at.

"Ohhhhhh.. coulda told me it was the other way." Prompto says.

You all shake your head.

"Whaaat?! I didn't know!" He says.

Ignis of course gives you all the plan.
A very complicated one too.

"We have to find a way to sneak into that area, which has a bunch of magitek soldiers awaiting us inside. When we see them, we initiate attack and proceed to attack the tower, which is the center of their power. After that we make sure no magitek soldiers or engines await us outwards and we proceed to retrieve the Regalia." He says.

"Sooooo, basically we bust through the door, attack them, destroy the tower, then get the car. Goooott it." Prompto says it shortly.
"Way to go, Prompto! I thought I'd forget half the things he'd said. Which I did." Noctis says high fiving Prompto.
"Either way, the way you say it has no details. I kinda like Ignis' explanation better." Gladio says.
"Alright Mr. Smarty-pants, you go with that, we go with my way." Prompto says.
"Agreed." You mention.

You're around the front of the red tower, hiding of course. Though then, the battle does get intense but eventually everything went fine without you having to do anything but to scream watch out when one of them were to get their back stabbed.

"WOOHOO!!! We made it alive!! Sweet, sweet victory!" Prompto yells.

Prompto was so excited he actually slapped everyone's butt.

But then he came from you too.

"WHOA THERE! Prompto I think you're going to far back UP!" Noctis says.

Prompto didn't notice what he was about to do until he heard it and he stopped himself.
Looks at his hand, and looks at you.

"Aha... Sorry.." Prompto apologizes and smacks your back gently instead.

"Why be gentle when you can go rough?" You say, not noticing what you said in from of immature "teenagers."

Prompto and Noctis look at you.
Gladio clears his throat and Ignis coughs.

"What?" You say.
"OH, nothing..." They all say.

"Anyways... Pretty sweet busting up that base. "Bust-a-base"... I like the sound of that for this sort of thing." Prompto says.
