Prompto X Reader: Parting Ways

Stand by Me

Emotions overflow out of all of you.
Someone you all considered a family whom you've lost for 10 years is standing before you.
This seems all like a dream.
He's finally here.
"I knew you'd come... I knew it.." Prompto says quietly.
He hugs him tightly.
"You scared us half to death..." Gladio says.
"You guys think I'd die that easily...? Hell no." Noctis says.
"I'm sorry I kept you guys waiting.." he continues.
"I see sunlight is gone..." Noctis looks up.
"You should have noticed when you appeared. Weren't there daemons near you?" Ignis says.
"Course there was." Noctis says.
"And plenty of them."
"We should celebrate your return! The king is here! He has come!" Prompto says.

Noctis laughs weakly.

"What's wrong?" You ask him.
"Huh? Nothing's wrong." He says.
He made it sound convincing.
"You don't want to celebrate?" You ask another.
"I-I do! Certainly I do.." He says.
"Let's get necessary items so we can celebrate." Prompto says.
"Where should we do it?" Gladio says.
"Actually..." Noctis says.
"What is it? Spill it already." Gladio says.
"I was... Wondering if we can celebrate.. near the camp ground.. near Insomnia?" Noctis says.
"Out of all places, why Insomnia?" Ignis questions.
"There's something I have to do there.. once we're done celebrating." He says.
"What do you have to do?" You ask.
"I'll tell you when we all relax." Noctis says.
"Noctis, you do know Insomnia is filled with creepy crawlies, right!?" Prompto warns.
"And not just some! A lot, baby!" Prompto continues.
"I know that.. that's why I need all of you." Noctis says.
"You're all capable, I believe that in you all." He says.
"Hey, hey! We should all wear the kingsglaive outfits now!" Prompto says.
"It'll make us look more guard like to Noctis." You say.
"Yeeeah, and he'll get to wear a nice kingly outfit." He adds on.
"Very niiice.." He stops.

He looks around.
There's a huge silence.

"What are you looking for?" Noctis says.
He gets closer to Noctis.
"You have to strip." He whispers.
"What?" Noctis whispers back
"C'mon man, I have the clothing with me, you're the king, you gotta go first." Prompto says.
"Nono, wait, go back. What did you say?" Noctis says.
"I said strip." He repeats. Louder this time.
Everyone turns their heads towards Prompto.
"You guys gotta strip too, don't look at me." He says.
"There's a room for that!" You say.
"I know, but that's boring!" Prompto says.
"Then I'm a boring person." Noctis says.
"Give me the clothing and I'll be on my way." he continues.
"Same goes with me." You say.
"Us too." Gladio says.
"You guys are no fun..." Prompto says.

Prompto whistles.

"Aren't you a hotty." He says.
"Um, thank you?" Noctis says
"Pfft, not you." He points at you.
"Oh! Thank you!" You wink at him.
"There you guys go again." Gladio says.
"I'll be guessing you guys got married without me?" Noctis says.

It's silent.

"Sheesh! I didn't meant for it to be quiet! It's alright if you guys got married without me. How long was I gone again?" Noctis says.
"10 years.." Ignis says.
"Exactly! I wouldn't expect you to wait 10 years to wait for me!" He says.
"Haha..." Prompto clears his throat and looks to the side. He's nervous.
"Loosen up, would ya?" Noctis smacks his back.
"Still the same brotherly love." You say.
"Who's driving?" Gladio says.
"Not me." Ignis says immediately.
"I'll drive-"
"NONONO! We do not want you dying first! Remember when last time one of us took the wheel!?" Prompto interrupts you.
"We'll go walking... See... nice and easy!" Prompto says.
"Yes I know what happened! But I'll go a different route!"
"We're more likely to get targeted on foot than in car, Prompto." Ignis says.
"But we can hide, you hadn't thought of that did you?" Prompto says.
"They have a keen sense of smell, I hope you know that." Gladio says.
"Why is everyone attacking Prompto today?" You say.
"Right!?" Prompto agreed
