Prompto X Reader: Parting Ways

When you all arrived at Lestallum after butt kicking everyone in your way you all get off.

"Ah... This is the heat I don't wish to remember..." Noctis says.
"You can say that again..." Prompto adds.
"It's not that bad." Both Ignis and Gladio says.
"Right, [Y/N]?" Gladio asks you.

You give him the sharp eye and shake your head slowly.

"I guess not?" They both laugh.
"Can I get a hugg.." Prompto says out of the blue in front of everyone.
"Um..?" Noctis says.
"You're sticky, no one wants to hug you." Gladio says.
"You're one to talk! You're a living mop!" Prompto says.
"I didn't mean to say that outloud either... It just came out.." Prompto continues.
"Uh huh." Ignis says
"Can you fan us Ignis?" Noctis says with his last dying words.
"Why me?" Ignis says.

And like that Noctis was out as a light bulb.

He fans you instead.

"That's discrimination!" Prompto yells.

He pulls you away from Ignis.

"Ow! My arm!" You yelp.
"Sorry!" Prompto apologizes as he continues pulling you away from Ignis.
He seems rougher than usual.

"Go easy on her." Ignis says. He doesn't seemed bothered by the sudden intrusion.
"Can we just go to the hotel, they have air conditioners there!" Noctis says.
"Sure why not. Just so we can see you knock out again." Gladio says.

Iris is waiting by the entrance and looks at you with dead eyes.

What happened?

Prompto has is arms over you. Why? I don't know, ask him. ....Oh wait....  you can't ;-;...(I'm sorry)

It doesn't really bother you but you wanted to know why. Why does Iris look depressed and why is Prompto attached to you all of a sudden when most of the time he keeps his distance?

So many questions left unanswered. But will be answered now.

"Prompto are you hurt?" Noctis askes.
"No, why?" Prompto responds.
"Why are you clinging onto [Y/N] like you own her or something?"
"I'm tired, butt out.." Prompto whines.
"Then walk with your body near a wall.." You say all of a sudden.
"You get em." Gladio says.

Prompto seemed heartbroken.
He mumbled something under his mouth but you didn't quiet get it. All the way he had his head down while walking slowly.

You all are approached by Iris.

"I let you.. down..." She says.
"What?" Gladio says.
"The empire came while you all were gone.." She continues.

All of your eyes opened.
She signals to go upstairs with all of you to speak.

When she sits down she begins.

"We all mentioned nothing about Noctis. How he was never here.. they just showed up out of no where and..." She stops.
"They..." She keeps stopping her self. Her face streaming with tears.
"Poor Jared..." She finally says.
"What about him-!"
"There was nothing we could do, Gladiolus!" She yells and begins to cry even more.
Prompto covers his face. You turn away, you're leaning on the wall near the door.
