Prompto X Reader: Parting Ways

Farewell

You look as everything around you falls apart.
You're crying, but you're so broken that with every year you can't feel anything, but the tears keep coming.

It keeps getting worse.
The space around you gets smaller.

Prompto is fighting Gladio to let him go.

"YOU'RE GOING TO GET CAUGHT UP IN THE FUCKING MESS IF YOU DONT' RUN!" Gladio yells.
"SHE'S STILL IN THERE!!" Prompto screams.
"LEAVE IT! SO IS NOCTIS!" Gladio yells.
Prompto begins to sob even more. Breathing sharply between each scream of cry.

You stay still in fear and sadness.
Depression overwhelming you.
You look at the destruction, and look back at your only way out which was now closed.

"Why...?" You say quietly.
"Why god damn it...?" Noctis says as he lies on a broken building. Seeing everything he loves disappear.

When you turn back around. The floor you were on was floating.

You just lied there.
Watching everything.
Watching the chaos.
Knowing that once it's over, the lights will go out.

"Don't... End.." you say.
Repeatedly.

You covered your head and shook it. You repeatedly say don't end, but the other side of you is screaming make it stop. When the sound of water exploding stopped.

You looked up.
The sun was not there.
Waves piled on one another. Grew bigger and bigger.
Leviathan was no longer found.

Your eyes widen.
The buildings start falling.
The waves start falling.

Altissa became ruins.
Not a sign of buildings that were still well built were found.

"All citizens of Altissa evacuated. Please continue traveling." A man says.
"Oh god.... Please no..." A woman says in tears while covering her face.
"Is this real?..." A teenage boy says.

Many people fall on their knees to mourn their country.
"Prince Noctis... Princess Lunafreya..." People begin saying.

Gladio turns away from them.
Ignis, and Noctis haven't been found yet.

Prompto lies on his side on a bench facing the ocean. Silent.

You haven't been found yet.

"A search team was sent to find if there's any survivors!" A man in a suit says.

You're walking around a grass field. Seems familiar to the first time it happened, but something feels a little off.
There's no voices.
No voice telling you it's too early.
It's just you alone.

"So this is what it feels like to have a taste of loneliness." You say.
A smile curls on your face.

You close your eyes.
Once you open them, everyone you know is in front of you.
The only one who are missing is Noctis and Ignis.

Everyone waves at you.
Your eyes tear up.

"Come on!" Everyone says.
They're a bit far from you.
Last time this happened you were cut off.
Did they all die? Or are they all dying?
You gesture them to come to you but they're not reacting to you.
