It doesn't take long for Ethan to get used to Sawyer DM'ing him. They usually message him a meme, or talk about his latest video. He tries to respond with something of substance, but exchanging memes is much more easier than having an actual conversation.
After two days, he finally tells G that he likes someone, and G demanded to know who it was. Ethan sends him a link to one of Sawyer's videos, a keyboard cover they did a few months ago when they had purple hair.
she's cute. good singer G tells him.

He switches over to Twitter and taps on Sawyer's avi to DM them, but hesitates on what to say. They're both YouTubers, and with that comes the occupational hazard of oversharing. After watching several of their videos, he knows a lot of things about Sawyer already: favorite bands, shows, movies, that they wear a lot of meme-y shirts. And if they watch his videos, they can probably name a bunch of random facts.
He can't ask a question about what they like, because they're pretty open with it. Sometimes it's hard being mildly well-known.
Sighing, he leaves the conversation and goes back to the one with G.
