Gabrielle was fuming. The door to her office slammed behind her as she stomped her way over to her desk where she put her purse. She then took a seat, her chair letting out an audible poof in response to the sudden weight on it. Her mind processing a million thoughts, Gabrielle's leg jumped up and down. How dare he...
How dare this... man... Whatever the hell he wanted to call himself. How dare he come here with the ruse of promoting her because of her dedication to his company. "Right-hand lady" her brown ass. How dare he toy with her emotions. How dare he force himself on her... She would admit that she was terrified of him now. However, as fearful as she was, she was anything but helpless. She would fix him good and plenty. He chose to mess with the wrong woman.
She stared at her computer, all the while considering ways to execute her plan. The buzzing of her intercom startled her. She was already riled up enough, so the sudden noise made her jump out of her skin. Gabrielle pushed the button to reply to her assistant. "Yes, Samantha?"
"Good morning, Ms. Thompson. I've just received a message from CEO Dragonoff's office requesting that you stop by."
Gabrielle scowled at the mention of his name. CEO Dragonoff... She scoffed and rolled her eyes. He had some nerve, asking her to come to his office after that shit he pulled yesterday. She'd go though. She stood up and slipped her secret weapon into the inside pocket of her jacket and made her way out the office.
Vincent sat at his desk and read through some important files for one of the company's clients. There was an upcoming meeting that he had to be prepared for, so he used his downtime to reread the information needed. Though he had found himself reading the same sentence at least ten times now. His focus was on other things...
The only thing, or rather only person, he could think about all morning was Gabrielle. He remembered how soft and delicate she'd felt in his arms. And that sweet nectar he drank from her... He could sing praises of the taste of her blood forever. It was incredible, to say the least. And he wanted to have her forever.
You don't deserve her. The voice in the back of his head scolded him. You forced yourself on her. What makes you think she could ever love you? After all you've done?
He closed his eyes and tried to shake his head free of the thoughts that plagued him.
When she learns of your past, you can kiss her good bye. A woman like her would never want to be with a murderer.
Vincent dropped the papers in frustration and rubbed his temples with his forefingers. There was a knock at the door, drawing his attention there. His heart began to flutter knowing that Gabrielle had finally arrived. "Come in," he called.
"Good morning, Vincent," Gabrielle greeted when she stepped in and closed the door behind her. "You wanted to see me?"
He smirked at her. She sounded nervous in his presence.
Within reason...
"Please," he said as he motioned to one of the brown leather armchairs directly across from his desk. "Have a seat." He was pleasantly surprised when she did so without hesitation. He was even more so pleasantly surprised when she crossed her legs, raising her skirt slightly higher up her thighs. A smirk came to her face, mirroring his. At this point, he had completely forgotten why he had called her there... Something about a meeting? Who knew?
"You know, Vincent," she piped up, her voice taking on a sensual tone. "I was thinking..."
He knew exactly what she was thinking. "You want me to call you over here so I can kiss you again."
Gabrielle visibly stiffened. How the hell did he know what she was thinking?
"I can hear some of your thoughts, Gabrielle. You want me to hold you close and kiss you deeply. You want me to fall into you, and you want me to drink from you again."
