A/N: Ayyy, here we go!

London, 1976

Vincent skidded his black 1972 Harley-Davidson FX Super Glide to a halt and forcefully applied the kickstand before walking down the alley way that led to the door of the pub that they spent a great deal of their time in. Kakra was stomping behind him, trying desperately to keep up with his long strides. Their present conversation infuriated him, and he tried his best to just walk away from the woman before he lashed out at her and said something he would regret. She was persistent, however, his tightly clenched knuckles and jaw, bulging neck veins obvious signs of his restrained anger.

"Dragon, I'm telling you, you're making a huge mistake. You cannot marry her," Kakra called after him. She caught up to him and pulled his arm back, bringing him to a halt. He turned to face her, looking less than amused. "Can you just give me a chance to explain?!"

"What the fuck is there to explain, Kakra?!" he yelled, throwing his hands up in the air and finally releasing his bubbling emotions. "It's obvious that you are jealous of Camille. You thought that I was going to be single and hanging on to your every action forever. Well, I'm not doing it! I've finally accepted our fates. You can stop cheating on Elias, and I can stop being such a bad influence on you. All of our relationships with each other will be better this way."

He took note of how she shrunk back when he began yelling, and his face softened when he realized that tears were beginning to run down her cheeks. He never liked to see the women he loved cry, so he brushed her tears away with a sigh.

Kakra shook her head before taking her hat off. She squeezed it so hard that her knuckles began to pop under the force. "Dragon, you guys are my best friends," she said with a sniffle. Her golden eyes now look at him through a curtain of brown, curly hair. "I just don't want to see you get hurt," she cried, violently shaking her head side to side. "This whole thing is wrong! She's not the one who's meant for you. Just hear me out and reconsider this marriage, please. I'm begging you."

Vincent eyed her warily. Reconsider? He'd been engaged to Camille for nearly a year now, the wedding was next month, and Kakra wanted him to reconsider? "Why should I reconsider my proposal to Camille?"

She shook her head. "It's not your destiny to be with her."

He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "My destiny," Vincent muttered after her. He knew that his friend was the Ancient Egyptian Oracle of Destiny, worshipped as a goddess in the empire's time, and he knew that she could see where he was destined to go and who he was truly supposed to be with. "All right, then, who am I meant to be with?"

"You know I can't tell you that..."

Vincent rolled his eyes and threw up his hands in defeat with a heavy sigh. This was all rather annoying. He was going to marry Camille whether she liked it or not. Destiny could suck his huge, white d—

"Dragon." He was pulled out of his thoughts by Kakra calling him. "Fate has a wicked sense of humor. If you stray too far, it would go to the most extreme lengths to get you back in line." She was regaining her composure.

Vincent narrowed his eyes in a suspicious squint at her. "How are you so sure that I'm not destined to be with Camille?"

Without saying anything else, she quickly stepped to him, threw her arms around his neck, and pulled him down for a rough kiss, tongue begging for entrance to Vincent's mouth. Momentarily, he was frozen, but then the memories and all the feelings of being with her all rushed back to the forefront of his mind. Before he realized what was happening, he was kissing her back, his tongue slow and seductive. His hands moved to grip tightly at her waist, pushing her lower body into his. He was getting into it now, but— He pushed Kakra back, breaking the kiss. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
