A/N: Well hello there! It's been quite a while. Glad to finally be posting for my lovely people. Just want to thank everyone who's been reading and commenting, and for the messages reminding me that you guys enjoy my writing. I'm sorry it took so long, had a serious creative drought that I'm not completely certain I'm all the way through. But the show must go on!

This book, I think is almost finished. If anything, it'll have a couple more chapters. But fear not, there's a sequel! *Cue fanfare* If you guys enjoyed this story, then wait til we really get into Vincent's and Gabrielle's crazy adventures together.

Anyway, enough rambling. On with the show!

~~~~~
For the love of my life:
I'm so glad to have finally found you, Gabrielle. Even though we aren't in the best place right now, I'm looking forward to the day we are reunited. Until that day, enjoy this gift, Love.
Vincent
Gabrielle frowned when she finished reading the card aloud, and looked in Katie's direction. Her friend was standing across from her, getting ready to sit at one of the guest chairs adjacent to her desk. "Wow," the blond muttered in awe of the gift.
Vincent had sent Gabrielle one of those edible fruit bouquets for Valentine's Day, the variety of fruit carved intricately to resemble hearts and roses. Also, among the fruit, there were several scattered chocolate cake pops. Seeing the grandness of his gift made Gabrielle want to return the gift she got him and get something just as fancy... Her lips twisted into a worried frown.
"For someone with such a cold demeanor, that man sure knows how to treat a lady," Katie said before turning to Gabrielle. "So, are you finally gonna talk to him today? It's been at least a week."
Gabrielle groaned at the thought. Yes, she was planning on going to speak with Vincent some time during the day... at least that was the plan up to the night before. But when Valentine's Day finally came, she became nervous. What would the two say to each other? What would he say to her? How would he feel after seeing her for so long? Would he be angry with her for avoiding him and ignoring his countless calls and texts? The uncertainty threatened to drive her insane!
"Yeah..." Gabrielle sighed. "I think so... I got him a gift, so I want to go give it to him. That'll give us an opportunity to talk... and I can apologize to him."
Katie smiled, clasping her hands together. "Good!"
"Or!" Gabrielle continued, "I could do that tomorrow and come to the hospital with you to visit Cam."
Katie furrowed her brows. "Orrrrrrrr..." Gabrielle didn't like the sound of that "or." She knew that Katie was about to shove a hard to swallow truth pill down her throat. "Or, you could go spend Valentine's Day with your boyfriend, like you're supposed to. Like, come on, Gabrielle, how long do you plan to keep this up? The man is miserable without you!"
Yup, there it was... Images of Vincent lashing out at people for no reason over the passed few days flashed in her memories.
"Fine, fine...," Gabrielle replied with a tired huff, "I'll go talk to him right now, ok?"
Katie's expression brightened once more with a smile from ear to ear. "Good! I'm honestly tired of seeing you guys apart. Everyone can tell you're not happy without each other. But anyway, go get your man before somebody tries to steal him!"
Gabrielle scoffed as she gathered her gifts for Vincent. Someone else steal her man? Hell would quicker freeze over...
