Ice Cream (Part 2)

After dinner, RJ was exhausted. I told him to take a shower and get to bed but he insisted to watch a few movies and ice cream with me again. "Ano ka ba. Pagod na pagod ka na nga sa work tas pipilitin mo pa manuod ng movie. Matulog ka na uy.". "Sasayangin ko ba tong oras na toh samahan yung napaka ganda kong girlfriend?" He asked. It went on for a while pero nagpatalo nalang ako sa napaka kulit kung boyfriend. "Sige na nga. Para sayo." I joked. We went to the living room and got a few pillows and a comforter and dumped it on he huge sofa (it was as big as a queen sized bed!) then RJ got a tub of Ube Caramelized Sugar and one of Avocado Peanut Butter Magnolia Ice Cream. Pareho kaming fan ng Magnolia i let out a chuckle. "Second time ko lang kainin tong mga bagong flavors na toh. Kasabay nung Mango Dark Chocolate na kinain natin last time." I explained. "First time ko toh eh. Ok ba?". "Mm! Super sarap. I love Magnolia.". "Mm! Sarap nga! I love Magnolia, but i love you more." He said. "Aww." I said defeated. Masyadong tinake over ako ng kilig! So we watched a couple of movies on the sofa, as i fell asleep on the third, snuggled up in his arms.

I woke up still on the sofa that morning. I didn't know what time it was since I didn't have my phone with me. I felt an arm around my waist and turned around seeing RJ's angelic face in front mine. I touched his cheek and held back my tears whispering, "I can't believe you're mine.". Then, his freakishly long lashes started to flitter open and he whispered back, "Don't worry, i can't either. All i know is that i love you." He paused "so much." He finished giving me a light kiss on the lips.
