Job Hunting

3 years later, i was still depressed about my tita, and still, never forgetting RJ. I've never been happier with anyone else in my life. Still no contact with him, since i left my phone when i was rushing to leave. I was on my way home still replaying the conversation i had with my boss at the mall the day before. "Maine. You have been working as the cashier at this mall for one week. I told you to be polite to all costumers and you've been the total opposite!" She complained. "Sorry, ma'am. I won't let it happen again." I whispered. "I'm done with those apologies. You said that the last time. You're fired, i'm sorry.". I didn't bother to argue, so i took a walk with my head down going home.

I unlocked the door to the house and i kicked off my boots. "Nay. Finire ako sa work." I shouted so she could here it from upstairs. All my siblings were at work. She came running downstairs and cupped my cheeks. "Ha?! Anong nangyari sayo??". "Sory, Nay ah. Sinubukan ko talaga eh. Sorry.". She let out a deep breath and said. "Malungkot ka parin ba? Dahil kay RJ?". I nodded slowly and she gave me a tight hug and kissed my forehead. "Sige na, nay. Aalis na ako. Maghahanap na ako ng trabaho ulit." I sighed. "Ayaw mong magpa hinga muna?" She asked. "Di na po. Okay lang.". She nodded and brought out the door. I took a can to a place with many stores and walked around looking for "now hiring" signs but couldn't find any. I was about to turn around when i finally saw a now hiring sign stuck to the back window. I entered the back door and found out it was a restaurant. No staff, no people, the restaurant newly opened. I walked deeper into the place and saw a man with his back toward me on a table for two, with his head down, writing something. "Excuse me?" I called. He turned his head and i lost my breath, seeing the man i loved most. "Maine?!" He said running toward me. "RJ?!" I sobbed as i buried my face in his chest. He cupped my face and pulled it away. He looked at me again from head to toe then wrapped me tighter in his arms.
