Chapter 14: Playing Hard to Get [Pt. 1]

3rd Person POV

Skipping over the boring school days, the couple finally became... couples!

Grodella was finally with Bill, Alec with Elisa, Lavender with Thomas, Lyra with Edward, Lyca with Marcus. Only one problem's bothering them though: Zhion and Riley. Those two did admit their feelings toward each other, but only to their friends.

So their friends proposed a plan on upcoming end of weekdays: Camping! They invited over Zhion and Riley too, and hey, they agreed!

Lavender's POV

It was actually nice that I get to be invited in a camping, hosted by one of Elisa's friends. It's nice to know she's able to socialize more.

We packed our bags and guess we're good to go then!

She kept giggling and won't stop.

"Elisa are you alright?"

She shook her head and mumbled something, which made me curious.

"What was that?"

She shook her head, "Oh nothing~!"

We went downstairs and out of our house, searching around outside if we can see anyone who knows where to go.

And luckily, we saw the twins.

"Hey you guys!" Elisa waved at them, and the two waved back at us.

Elisa started whispering to the twins, which really made me curious. Something's really fishy here.

I just shrugged it off and we finally followed the two girls, to the hotel they've been talking about that we will sleep in.

Soon enough we arrived at the hotel they were telling me.

Hotel Greenery? Our family went here a couple of times, it's truly a relaxing and tranquil place.

They said that we will all meet up at the lobby, so I decided to sit down on one of the couches and waited patiently.

Soon though, I felt the couch shifted and became heavier, since someone must've seated next to me.

I looked up at my friends, standing up and falling in line at the reception, causing me to raise an eyebrow and look at who I was sitting next to.

My eyes widened when I saw a male figure— wearing a long sleeve polo and jeans, along with leather shoes. His blond hair was neatly combed, and his blue eyes sparkled aginst the sunlight. His skin was looking fair, and his lips curved into a small smile, making me daydream or something. Even drool.

Unaware, he was already waving at me.

"S-sorry Thomas I-I was uh, spacing out. You look hot!— I-I mean handsome!"

"Thanks, Lavender. Why are you here though?"

"Oh I was just invited by a few friends over here to camp. How about you?"

My eyes widened and my voice trailed off, "Th-the same..."

We both looked at each other, feeling myself blush, and he did too.

Just then, the others were done getting their room keys, and tossed me one.

"What about me?" Thomas asked.

All of then smirked, while Lyca and Elisa both said, "You both get to sleep in the same room."

I got flustered at the mere thought of sleeping in the same bed with him.

We then proceeded to go up to the 4th floor. Luckily our rooms were just right next to each other, which was great, so we won't go anywherw else but in this floor.
