Riley's POV
"Come on, you can do better than that!"
"I'm trying, jeez!"
"Harder then, and go faster! Jeez, you're so slow."
(Naughty minds huh? Jk)
Apparently Zhion and I agreed to go boxing in the gym in his house. Apparently here I am, in his house, training. I don't even get the point of this stuff.
"Why am I doing this anyway?"
"Reasons. Plus you never know when you'll need self-defense."
I just sighed heavily as I continued to give the punching bag some more punches.
"THAT'S IT, KEEP GOING!"
"DARN IT ZHION, I'M SWEATY!"
"Tch, tired already?"
I rolled my eyes as I wiped off my sweat with my face towel.
"Look I'm not as strong as you, so don't expect me to do as good as you or go beyond your strength."
"Well, this is exactly why you're doing this."
"Pfft you sound more like my mom than my best friend."
Just then, his doorbell rang, he glared at me before turning and walking away to answer the front door.
He returned, "Come on, you've got enough break time, let's continue."
I groaned as I got up from my seat and kept throwing my punches at the bag.
Just then, he stopped me, and started punching the bag himself. Quite fast, if I do say so myself.
"Pfft you sweat too much."
"You sweat too little, baby sweater."
I glared at him and took a drink of water from my bottle that I bought.
Since he was really sweaty, he took off his undershirt, revealing his toned body.
He smirked as I felt him tease me, "What, enjoying the view?"
"Shut up, sh-showoff."
I was avoiding eye contact with his well-toned body, since I think I'll probably die when I see it— I mean something... like that.
I went to the bathroom to do a quick change of clothes, since my workout ones are really drenched with my sweat.
When I stepped out of the room, he suddenly stopped me in my tracks, seeing him handing me a towel.
"Do me a favor, wipe off my sweat, back and front."
I rolled my eyes and sighed as I started wiping his sweat off of his back, "You can at least wipe the sweat off of your chest."
I handed him his towel back, but he wasn't budging. I groaned as I wiped the sweat off his chest, resulting me to seeing his... muscles.
I felt my face flush, as I quickly wiped it off and shoved the towel back on his hands.
"If you'll excuse me, I'll take my lea—"
"Nope. Not until we get to eat on my favorite cafe. Come on—"
"Pfft you're eating there dressed up like that?"
"Oh... right." he dashed upstairs to his room and went down wearing a dark teal long sleeve shirt and his pants, along with his sneakers.
"That was quick. Hungry huh?"
"Yeah yeah, come on. They. Have. Strawberry Tarts."
My eyes widened as I let him grab my hand and said, "TAKE ME TO OUR DESTINY."
"IT'S... HEAVEN!!!"
"Hey pass me the gingerbread cookies!"
"No, it's all mine!" I said, jokingly hugging all the snacks he treated both of us to.
"Hey don't forget, the payment was all on me— if anything, I should be gobbling up all those snacks, but hey, at least thank me for treating you!"
"Yeah yeah, but in all seriousness, thanks for treating me. I was really starving!"
"Pfft you mean WE were really starving."
"Yeah yeah that."
I wiped off the excess sweet I felt that was on my mouth, and sucked my finger, to avoid the wastage of the deliciousness of the treats.
Anyway, after an hour, we were finally finished. And stuff.
"Thanks, I had fun— except for the exercising part."
"Pfft eh, you're welcome I guess."
I gave him a quick hug before skipping back to the street where I live.
