Chapter 9- She's A Blessing to Me

*Justin's POV*

I just sat on the couch sobbing into a pillow while repeatedly mentally slapping myself. I can't believe I called Autumn a bitch! She's not a bitch at all! She's a blessing to me and I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm around her. Right after I yelled at her, I immediately regret what I had just said. After she left, my heart shattered. How could I hurt the one friend who means the most to me? I'm almost 20, I should know how to watch my mouth! I'm such an asshole for doing that to her!

After a few minutes, I heard my phone buzz in my pocket. I looked at the caller ID and it was my mom. Oh! I forgot! She was supposed to be coming over today to have dinner with us. I gotta start writing these things down. I answered the call.

*PHONE CONVO*

Me: Hey mom!

Mom: Hi honey!

Me: How are you?

Mom: I'm doing good, hey, I just found Autumn-

Me: YOU FOUND HER!?! IS SHE OKAY!?! LET ME TALK TO HER!!!

Mom: Sweetheart, calm down! Yes, she's okay, and it's good I found her in time or-

Me: What do you mean in time?

Autumn: Um, Justin?

Me: Autumn! Babygirl! Don't you ever scare me like that again! What did mom mean when she said on time?

Autumn: I'll tell you later.

Me: Wait!..

*End of phone convo*

What did she mean on time?

*Autumn's POV*

I was still sitting on the edge of the cliff, when I decided to make up my mind. I'm going to jump off this cliff. No one's going to care if I die, not even Justin. He even hates me now. I suddenly stood up, took a deep breath and slowly counted to 3.

"1....2....3!" I said, but before I could jump, I heard a familiar female voice in the background.

"Autumn!" The voice screamed. I knew that voice....it's Pattie! Justin's mom!

I turned around. "Pattie?" I said as I backed away from the edge as she walked towards me.

"What on earth are you doing!? Why would you do something like this?" She said surpringly shocked.

I started to sob and told her everything. About me almkst being raped, the recent fight Justin I had. I can see the symapthy in her eyes.

"Come here." She said as she pulled me in for a hug as I sobbed into her chest.

"You're not the only one who's ever felt this way. I know what it's like to feel ashamed and worthless, but you don't have to feel this way. I'm sure Justin didn't mean what he said, he was probably just mad, that's all." She said.

"So, you're not mad?" I asked.

"No, I'm just shocked that you were willing to go this far, you're better than that." She said.

"Oh, well, do you think we should call Justin and tell him I'm okay. I've been here for over an hour and I left my phone back at the house." I said.

"Yeah, we should probably do that." She said.

She pulled out her phone and called Justin. We told him that I was okay but I think I should wait to tell him about the suicide attempt.
