The day went on with more not so quiet whispers about me. But me and melody just laughed at them.

i acted like the perfect nerd for the next few days, I didn't have anymore incidents with jerks or the populars. The brothers all stuck by me and made sure of that.

The week was over and it is now Saturday. I told the boys and Jenna I was meeting up with melody at the library.

pffff as if.

I actually have a fight. I told melody and she was begging me to come along. I gave in to her but I told her to stay close to me because it's dangerous.

so here I was dressed in black booty shorts and a hot pink sports bra. My hair is up in a pony tail and I have thick eyeliner and red lipstick.

melody is beside me wearing similar style but has skinny jeans and a black tank top on.

I knock on the door three times just like last time. The same guy opens the door. his eyes widen in surprise and I don't even have to say anything because he scurried out of the way. I put on my smirk and walk in with a frightened looking melody as she takes in the place.

I sign up for the series fights. Meaning each time I win I'm put with a new opponent. Then I turn around and talk to melody.

" Hey don't look so scared, I won't let anyone touch you okay?"

"o-okay" she stuttered but looked a little more relaxed.

"so your gonna sit right beside the cage, so your in my line of site got it"

she nodded.

"LILAC BRUISER AND THE DESTROYER!"

I smiled at melody and went in to the cage. the guy was tall and build ill give him that but I'm fast and strong.

the bell rang and I kicked him in the chest.

He stumbled back but he caught his balance. He tried punching me in the head but I dodged it.

Then I punched him in the gut and he keeled over then I took that chance to punch him in the side of the face.

He fell down but a few seconds later he go up and punched me in the face.

Now im gonna have to cover that bruise with make up

I barely flinched though and in that moment I did a back flip and kicked him under his chin, making his head go up with a crack. And without wasting time I swiped his legs out from under him and he fell with a bang.

serves you right

He was out. That's how my night went going from guy to guy and beating them all with barely any injuries.

I walk off the cage and grab melodys arm and go to the lockers.

She is staring at me in amazement.

"Lila that was amazing! How can you do that, it looked so effortlessly "

"years of practice, and I've done this since I was thirteen"I shrugged.

"THIRTEEN?!, why?" she looked astounded.

"I can't handle my emotions very good so I fight to get those emotions out of my system" I say nonchalantly.

"oh" I could tell that melody wanted to ask more question but decided not to.

"come on let's go" I say after I finish changing and taking off my makeup and putting on concealer to cover the bruise and lastly, I put on my nerd glasses.

We walk out and everyone is looking at me bewildered, wondering how I can take on those many guys and not be hurt.

I put on my smirk as we walk. But for a second I thought I saw James. I faltered in my steps and melody looked at me questionably. I just grabbed her arm and ran out of there.

When we were out in the alley I looked at her.

"I think I saw James in there" I say frantically

Mel looks worried." it'll blow your cover"

"I know" I sigh

"Well lets walk home"

We walked on the road in silence, until I heard footsteps behind us. they sound close, like right behind us so I grab Mel's arm and push her away then I turn around and punch whoever it was in the face.
