I soon enough came to a town, which was marked Snowdin. I slipped through back alleyways, though I had seen no one.

Eventually, I came across a long stretch of land, with no cover. I sighed and stepped out from behind a building, starting to walk down the long stretch of bland land. I was beginning to loose feeling in my hands.

I sighed, my breath clouding in front of me. This was going to be a long walk.

Papyrus' POV:

I could see the human walking down the long stretch of land. This must've been the one that my brother was talking about, right? It had to be. But why did they look so. . . Immortal? Or so. . . Beyond this realm? Why was he so determined to kill this human?

I know that after the way he had talked about him, that tone, that this human would not be gently killed. I wanted to give them a painless death.

"HUMAN!" I started walking towards them.

They turned around quickly and appeared to be panicked.

"I AM PAPYRUS, OR, PAINLESS DEATH AS YOU MAY KNOW ME. I AM HERE TO GIVE YOU A PAINLESS DEATH! PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND DEFEND YOURSELF, I WOULD PERSONALLY RATHER BE KILLED BY SOMEONE AS GREAT AS MYSELF THAN MY BROTHER, WELL, DEATH HIMSELF!" I explained.

She started backing away.

"HUMAN, PLEASE, DO NOT TRY TO RUN! I AM ONLY HERE TO GIVE YOU A PEACEFUL DEATH!" I repeated.

"I-I just want to get to the surface! Please! I-I have people waiting on me!" They shouted over the wind.

I frowned, "HOW DO YOU PLAN ON GETTING BACK TO THE SURFACE? YOU NEED A MONSTER'S SOUL TO GET THROUGH THE BARRIER!"

"I-I'll figure it out! Please! Please just show me mercy!" She pleaded.

I sighed, "HE'S LOOKING FOR YOU! MY BROTHER! DEATH! HE'S LOOKING FOR YOU AND IF HE CATCHES YOU--"

"I know! But I--I'm determined to get out of here! And if he catches me then so be it! I believe in Destiny! I know that whatever happens, happens for a reason!" She said with, well, a determination in her voice.

"ALRIGHT HUMAN! JUST CALL ME IF YOU NEED ME!" I stepped to her and gave her a small slip of paper with my phone number, just in case she needed it.

She nodded, taking the paper.

"Thank you!" She said, crossing her arms, the paper flying in her hand.

I stepped away from her and back into the snow, back to the house. Hopefully Sans was still gone.
